Nice work, thanks for the update and the new units. Can't wait to try the new radar and sight ranges. Seems like a good step ahead in terms of gameplay and counter tactics possibilities. I'm particularly curious to see how it will affect the relations between air and anti-air units. Keep up the good work guys. [e digicons]:)[/e]

All seem interesting changes, thanks for the exhaustive list GG. Nice work. Looks like some room is progressively being made for the T4s. [e digicons]B)[/e]
## Season Pass Policy ## The complicated formula for who gets a season pass of Escalation DLC made the Inception DLC a bit bumpy to get out there. I think it's mostly cleared up now. So that we're clear: IF you bought the upgrade from the base game to Escalation you get a season pass.
The real question now being : What is included, or clearly planned to be included, in this season pass?</
Sounds like an interesting balance pass [e digicons]:)[/e]
Just a subjective opinion for sure, but tiny maps are good to train the efficiency of the build orders and confront our early timings though...particularly in 1v1. Those map tweaks seem interesting.
Provided that the community is, hopefully, still allowed to speak its polite but honest mind in here, as much as on steam i mean, grant me the favor to put this the direct way this time : Once again, the marketing discourses are evolving way quicker than the promises are kept or the content delivered. Believe me, less and less people are fooled. <p style=
Can't wait to see the new units and what value they can bring to the combats. Also hope for a general nice pass of balance when they'll arrive. For the name of the T4 that protects everything nearby, the Aegis of course, or the Anciles ! [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
First, thanks for the continuous support and for taking in account the feedback from the players community. - Something about the camera shortcuts : As it was said in another topic, could it be possible to rebind or change the lock/unlock camera function, which is currently bound to the Shift shortcut? Imho, it is an annoying matter of ergonomy and it currently interferes and overlaps with all the selection actions and consecutive orders, associated to the same shi
Q: What about the people who bought Ashes of the Singularity for $49.99 when it first released? We are going to give early adopters of Ashes of the Singularity a “season pass” to Escalation DLC that will last until the end of 2017. That is, all new DLC created for Escalation they get for free (provided they register with us, as we need to know when they got the game in order to give them the D
It depends. has to be compared with the PHC eco strategies with refineries i think. Less stock but more constant income versus lower income but better stock for substrate. (and better peaks with orbital boost?) Also with the PHC orbital boost for the productivity of factories and consequently the income/expense flux ratios. Still have to test things and don't exactly remind what were the PHC refineries precise specs in base Ashes (pr
Interesting question for the future, but this is not automatically done through Steam? For example Steam knows that you have base Ashes, at what date and price you bought it, and applies automatically the 50% discount. Free DLCs to come require other registration steps to make? And, just to make it clear, all the people who bought ashes, at full price, before escalation launch, founders or not, are eligible to receive all
For that a simple spectator mode, in single player, would be perfect. You pick up a 1v1 map, put 1 AI vs 1 AI, and watch the game, the build orders and AI tactics while you take your coffee. An observer mode. I thought such a feature was to be implemented some time ago...Is it still planned?
About the Charon cruiser, I do have an idea why not lock the Charon cruiser to teleport a Unit every 10 sec, that may help by giving it a teleportation timer. So if you need to teleport more units faster, then you will need to add more than 1 Charon cruisers in the each Meta-Unit or Group to get more units in.
A kind of disadvantage or condition sounds right in order to keep this unit useful
Hello, I would like to know if this is possible to tweak manually some camera settings in the config files : - First, is it possible to change the shift shortcut? For now, this shortcut is used to give consecutive orders, the classical way, but it is also used in the meantime to rotate/change the camera angle with the middle mouse button. So the shift button, alone, often "unlocks" the camera zoom and regularly, the camera hits
Yep. This kind of dedication is what is cruelly missing to the RTS market, and this market is pretty risky nowadays, we have to admit that. You keep believing in your product, you enhance it for the majority of people, you plan new improvements and features over a good period of time, and maybe the most important : you keep continuously your community in the loop. The game has made good steps forward since the release and your expansion price policy regarding
Hey Guys, been a while. Was just passing by to say thank you. The game is shaping great. With the last patches and balance tweaks, plenty of things are really improved. First, the group management, the formations and the default behaviour of units when grouped in a Meta Unit or not : Could still use some tweaks, notably the general form of the big groups when they move across the map on long distances, or the way they s
ooh, big patch day. Can't wait to try the new things [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
Sounds great. Indeed, having buffs and auras "spreading" from the toughest and dominant units, acting as a banner to enforce smaller ones seems to make sense. Based on this, my opinion is that the meta-unit's wise composition will gain more importance, tactically, and the placement or complementarity between several ones even more interesting. I'm pretty sure we ca
What's the role of orbital abilities right now? I mean, engineer calldowns are super useful, but plasma storm and Incursion just seem like I WIN buttons with Quanta price tags. One well-placed scout plane and the enemy could be reeling from an attack they either missed or couldn't see coming. That's very frustrating in a game of this genre. In addition, Ashes has no artillery coun
Yep, an observer mode could be really cool. it might show up for release if i understood well. Back on this "friday session" topic and to share this first impression here, a full support role seems viable as well in MP [e digicons];)[/e] : Rush the first radioactive site with an engineer, seizing time is just but it often works. then enforce your economy with a few metal and radioactive sites (let the most part for your
From my humble experience, anyone's opinion is good to take for the devs, and "experienced" players don't always possess the truth. i mean, plenty of people here certainly play RTS games since years, if not decades, and don't feel the need to qualify themselves as "experienced" or "competitive" players to voice a subjective opinion, hoping to influence the dev teams. With all due respect, i unfortunately have seen more than one beta test sinking into this kind

Just some words after a quick try : This new update brings some very nice improvements and new features. Performances make a good step forward, graphics and visual effects are shaping nicely, the strategic map is great, and formations seem more reactive and more organized. this is very nice as we often want, at this quite early stage and with each new update, to analyze and build some nice gameplay based on the behaviours of th
That would be great. Thanks for this precision.
Just some first observations on the new 0.64 build : My humble opinion is that you made a good step forward. the visual effects are shaping nicely, the groups and formations seems a bit more reactive, and the performances are a bit better on my end. The new map is missing? Concerning the new health bars : They are nice. the different colors for friendlies and enemies bring some clarity on the battlefield, when we are at max zoom out.
