Can someone tell me what radar does? I build one and I don't see any difference. I would have thought that for a given radius that I would always be able to see. One thing that I don't like, is that you can tell that the enemy is knocking on your door because you can't see them. So you can gave a bunch of T1 come up and smash you and your T2 can't fire because they don't see them yet. Hopefully this is addressed or addressed with building a ra
I played my first online match. I did not have to make any firewall changes. So I'm all good now. Not sure what the fuss is about with the ports.
I can't seem to find any matches, so I am guessing that there are some ports that need to be open in my firewall. Does anyone know where this is documented? thanks
So we don't know what ports need to be open?
Every time that I view to see if there are any pubic matches, I never see any. I am just wondering if maybe I have a firewall issue or something. Or it could be that no one is playing. I has hoping to be able to play a few games with some people.
i agree with other posts.. i personally dont zoom out to micro units in that manner..i only use it get to areas more faster just so convenient. other people have the same mentality just a quick way to navigate.
Same for me. Just zoom out to move faster around the map.
I'm not sure if this is possible, but it would be nice if when you group up units that you could tell the AI what you want them to do. Like if you want them to target engineers first, highest level unit, lowest level unit, each unit to shot at a different unit (not all at the same one). I know that this might be difficult but it might put another element to the AI and make people want to use groups instead of micro managing them. Just a thought.
One of the key reasons battles in Ta (and SupCom) were so great was the wreckage of destroyed units left behind - showing the field of battle and level of destruction. In addition in TA they also often provided a vital source of metal to continue the battle. IMHO, games where wreckage magically disappears into vapor loose a significant element that makes the battles satisfying - and which can also impact gameplay by
I played my first match with v0.62. I really like this patch over the previous one. I played the new map. One thing that I noticed is that it does not show you where the start points are. I noticed that it showed me where I would start in other maps but not the new one. One request that I have is that if you select a object to be built that you could just hold the mouse down and drag it. So if I wanted to make 3 land factories that I could
Next couple days.
Great, so what is in the next update?
Just wondering if anyone knows when the next update will be.
When is the 61 patch going to be released? It said early this week and it is Thursday now. Ok, I'm a little excited about getting my hands on the patch. I have been playing like 1 or 2 games a day when I have time. Still trying to get use to the game. It has been a long time since I have played Supreme Commander Forged Alliance (FA). I know that this is not the same game. But I really enjoyed that game. I even wrote the AI C
What is the objective of the game? I can't figure out what causes a win or loss. Very confused. The other thing that I don't like is that you can't zoom out far enough. It is hard to move around the map. Thanks
