Sound like you want to play somekind of lane RTT where there are couple of attack lanes where you assign troops. There are a ton of good flash games for that. Why does so many people want the game to play itself with minimal user input? To me that is ridiculous.. Thats like watching AI bots fight each other. There are already a number of siege options, overly powerfull static defences, plenty of reasons to scout, scan and expand rada
No. But i think the system crash is issue GPU load. Or I can not explain why my whole system is retarting after few minits plaing.
GPUs are designed to run at 100% load. I still think that it simply a heat problem. Is your GPU venting into the case or out of it?
I don't se no reason for larger maps unless player cap is increased. It would be cool to see something like 12 player maps but I have a feeling that is not happening very soon :D
I'm sure team ladders are in sights for the devs. They are still working on the 1v1.
This is interesting because since you say you do want an area select option, that would indicate to me that you would like to at least simplify the current 'place each resource building' process. Correct me if I am wrong. Why is it then, that you do not think automation is viable? In your case, you select an engineer, press the presumably one hotkey, drag and drop. In my case, I select an engineer and move order to a regio
System specs?
I had issues with medium quality settings which caused the units flicker between darker and normal shade. You should try different graphics settings to see if the problem goes away or worsens(is that a word?)
I have the same issue with some large maps.. I had to drop AA to have smooth gameplay. Difference is that my fps is bad from the start. benchmark runs smooth 1440p crazy 8xMSAA but especially in that 6 player winter map it is just hopeless.
Isn't the print screen function really part of Steam? Steam overlay stuff, including this it seems, don't work with DX12 yet.
F12 is screen capture key in steam. Print screen is windows feature which takes a snapshot of all displays. You can paste this image into notepad* for editing and saving. EDIT: Obviously not into notepad put in paint*
Those indicators aren't accurate. There are number of circumstances where they display wrong information. Unit healt is inaccurate too. I constantly have 5000+HP dreads just die suddenly.
Nothing catches my eye. Do you have bluescreens? Disable overlays if you use any. If you have unused USB devices try unplugging them. You should also clean your startup apps. There might be something unneeded in there.
Can verify. Also game becomes unresponsive for me if I alt+tab when multi GPU is enabled.
I tried running with my CPU at stock and no luck with that. I double checked the in game settings and it's set to 1920 x 1080. I also tried turning off VSR in the Crimson panel just in case that was the problem and that didn't help either. So far I've tried; low graphic settings v high, DX11 v DX12, VSR on and off, Crimson 16.2 and 15.12, and my standard OC at 4.3 v stock at 3.3 all of which result in the game locki

I agree with the music aspect and I think that the sound has only improved. I find myself making out what is going on just by the sounds and that is how it should be. However I don't get what you mean by planes coming out to early. Right now there is some tactical flexibility by going with early air and I think that is awesome.
AMD's CPU's are perfectly find for Ashes, in fact AMD CPU's have been better at highly threaded workloads than Intel CPU's (There are exceptions). The IPC per core is lower, but with the threading Ashes uses in DX12 AMD does well enough.
Well my FX 8350 is now clocked at 4950MHz and I am stuck with 45FPS 1440p. I can change the graphics preset from low to crazy 8x MSAA and get pr
Is that GPU temperature? If so what is your system temperature including CPU temps?
Is your whole system crashing? If so try dialing the overclock down a little bit just in case. Also make sure your ingame resolution is set to your windows resolution. For some reason I have had similar behavior when having a mismatched resolutions.
I was playing the whole time and only had one match vs real player I think. Is there something strange going on with the matchmaking or was it just really quiet yesterday?
There is a small chance that the NVidia HD audio drivers are conflicting with your realtek drivers but I doubt this is the case. Your system seems to have problems with the system memory. If you have overclocked your system try loading optimized defaults in the bios. It could be corrupted game files too. Maybe try reinstalling the game if you haven't already. Are you getting bluescreens while playing games ?
If you have steam FPS counter enabled disable it. Afterburner overlay could also cause problems. That beign said I had exactly the same behavior. The steam FPS counter was the problem but even with that fixed my CPU framerate and GPU framerate are pretty much matched at 45 FPS. watercooled 2xR9 290 watercooled
To me the visuals look 10 times better. Are you sure you are playing with native resolution?
Try disabling steam community while in game. If you use MSI afterburner try closing it too. Tried reinstalling the game? As a last resort you should try turning off any real time virus scanners while playing. DX diag log might help identifying any problems with your system.
Your system is likely overheating. If you can keep an eye on your system temperatures. Good program for that is CPUID HWmonitor. It will log the maximum temperatures if you dont have secondary monitor to keep track of temps in real time.
I found the issue. For some reason steam FPS counter caused bad performance. I got nice 50% boost with dual GPU ofthe disabling it. Thats not to say that my FX 8350 performs great. I'm still stuck 45FPSish regardless of graphics quality.
