Purrdy: To add an exlusion in Direct Folders, open the DF configuration and go to the Applications tab and Add wbconfig.exe, then uncheck Enable. Sounds like Windowblinds is about to be updated to fix the issue though if I'm following this thread correctly. The comments about adding an exclusion in WB are going the wrong way. The problem is DF apparently attempting to resize the WB Config window and causing the tearing.

Gah! That's it for me too :( Oh, perfect. I set up an exclusion in Direct Folders and now WB Config looks normal! Thanks for the help. I had tried to eliminate likely suspects but I didn't think about Direct Folders. Glad I don't have to decide to do without it though, I think I'd have to keep it over WB.

I've been having this same issue for a long time now and have given up running WB. I've done multiple complete uninstalls of WB and even SDC but it's been no help. I kept thinking a later build would fix it but I haven't had any luck yet. Here's the issue I have: The area showing my wallpaper doesn't refresh. If I put another window over the WB Config window then move it out of the way th

This is on a zoomer dock, I don't want any tabbed docks. I just tried creating a tabbed dock with a systray tab for a sanity check and it too had no icons. I have seen some other threads where people were saying they had no systray icons. Not much was said to resolve the issue except for one poster saying they should register rather than running a cracked version. Other threads mention its working with Vista. The funny/ironic thing is that the user-created Systray Docklet wo

Even better, OD+ systray functionality is spotty at best. It doesn't update the systray if I start applications that add systray icons after OD+ is launched. Then if I quit OD+ and restart it the systray is empty entirely. This is without PS Tray Factory running so that's not the cause. OS is Vista Ultimate.

I just emailed support but figured I'd put my email here in the forum to see if anyone else had any insight. I just bought ObjectDock Plus to get the system tray support but it doesn't seem to work well with PS Tray Factory, a program I use to keep my systray icons under control. With PS Tray Factory I have just a few systray icons in my tray and the ones that don't provide any visual feedback are hidden away to be brought up in a menu from the PS Tray Factory tray icon. Good news! (well for me at least) I did a complete WB uninstall w/reboot then reinstalled w/reboot and the problem seems to be resolved. Probably should have tried that a long time ago. This XP install is very long in the tooth (two months shy of three years now)and I don't know how many versions of WB it has seen at this point. Hopefully it's the same fix on the other systems as well.

Sorry, between the holidays and work I haven't been back to the board. It's a SDC install. It happens on all three machines that I use Windowblinds on and they're never in synch as far as drivers, Windowblinds versions, or even skins. I don't understand why it sounds like an isolated issue when it's on all my installs.
