I would like it if really high levels of espionage did some of the work for you. I admit, I'm lazy - how nice would it be if my bot came on screen to tell me that the Torians were researching Harpoon which would utterly devastate my shields only fleet. Instead, I've got to actually rest my eyeballs on the diplo screen readout of what they're up to (told you i was lazy). Would be nice if you could sabotage a ship in orbit for some serious $$$ too . .

It would be intersting if GalCiv (xpack) could implement that simple aspect of Star Control where you had to take certain planets in order to reach a set of other planets. It would add some strategy element to offense/defense in planet taking/defending. Of course, it could be toggled on and off. What do you think? :notsure:

Stardock: Thanks for the great game. Here are some ideas: (1) If you have a certain level of espionage, could it alert you to things such as "Your spy has found out that the Drengin have massed 13 warships outside of planet x." Or at higher levels even "Your spy has discovered that 13 Torian Warships have left Planet X and are targeted for Planet Y." (2) If a race violates a peace treaty too soon after agreeing to it, it is inherently untrustworthy. The tactical advantage they gai
