what the duties and responsibilities of a councilmember were.
A council member is a leader of sorts for diplomatic and home missions. Such as being active on our forum, and representing the JR in other Empire's forums and in recruiment. That is the simplest definition of the duties. Others, including non-councilers can submit fan fiction, create mods using the mod maker by Hawaii5O, or just support the JR in general. YOU can help make our Republic grand in
Just trying to make it easier if someone has a question for one particular person in the Council. Particularly foreign diplomats... ;)
BTW, Obi, another idea for the website I have, simple it is yet needed. A "Contact a Counciler" Page! A representative government with no way to contact the elected officials... :SURPRISED: First we would need all the council members emails. mine is : { fogman 444 @ hotmail . com >} [Message Edited]
on Thursday, send your votes to Yoda at Email That lets us keep the whole "secret ballot" idea.
Ah, too slow at my old age, you posted first, And I like your idea. your one sentence ballot as described above and the vote will remain "anonymous"
Regarding the election, do we just post who we want to vote for here or...?
Once start the election does (Thursday) me your vote. Format is simple, fill in the blank: I, Your name , am voting for Blank
f no one else decides to run for the council, does the council or Jedi Master Yoda just appoint someone to fill the slot? Or does that slot just remain open?
In this senario, the current council, a
Obi, just a suggestion, but if its possible, could you put a news posting page on the JR site so that our members can post there own news stories? Thanks
2003 Jedi Council Electorate Greetings, welcome you I do to the 2003 suplemental election for Jedi Council. After extensively pondering the proposal by Obi, I have come to the conclusion that the Jedi Council's size be decided by population (OT much like the House of Reps). This will be based on a system of 3's (Honor, Peace and the Force). For every 3 people in the order, another seat is added to the council (Jedi / 3). For example, there are currently 33 people in the Jedi Ord

Four days to the election remain, get in their folks, happen often this does not! Greetings to our new members and welcome to the order. With the recent addition of Homeworld2 to my time roster, getting a game done has been somewhat of a, chore, to say the least. But I digress; good luck to all the contenders and see you all tomorrow! :CONGRAT:
http://idle.thehueys.com/wotw/index.php Our stories for WotW are now up at the well designed WotW Story Repository. There are also forms for posting a story for the JR and an "other" GC related stories section that can be used to write stories of your Jedi adventures! Check it out its cool. :HOT:
Good luck all ye nominee's!-Count Dooku

I'm here... kinda. I've been busy with College. Not a whole lot of time to play GC and do school work
Ok, no longer open two spots are, but, Sephlock's position is availiable now, his email I do not have (he never emailed me) so unless he comes by in the next 5 days till the election, I'll just let his seat be filled. Obi, after the election, change the replaced members with the three chevron (OOO) insignia
After long though and consideration, decided I have, to hold a new election for the Jedi Council. Inactive members up for replacement on the council, include: Arcilte Moff Tarkin Count Dooku Thats three new councilers needed! IF the above councilers reafirm their status, immediatly off the replacment list they will be. This is to see who is truly just tied up. All active jedi are eligible to run, reguardless of score or alignment (KEmperor..). The first

Time it was for the return of this forum... yes. Now, perhaps, our creation live once again it will.
On the same note, how are mods installed? Are they self-extracting? I didn't see any instructions on the Library page.
The creator of the mod usually includes a readme in the files, and unless they put the effort to put a self-install package in it (which is almost never for most small mods, its easy to move the files yourself anyway) you have to move the files yourself to your Galciv directory.
