General Casey has decided to issue an edict of very little brain. Ostensibly intended to stop OPSEC leaks (and of course anything negative about the military) from military members who blog or email their families he has decided that you ca

This is actually a bug in the system used to calculate the Last 30 points. It has happened many times before and it always ends up being someone with one or two articles. They simply haven't swatted it yet. her blog ranking has nothing to do with her commentary rate.
Anyway, from what greywar is saying it could definitely do with a shakeup Indeed it could. I also think that a bit of honesty about the fiscal realities of this program is due to the current generation. It is a bit disingenous to allow today's young people to operate under the delusion that the government can or will take care of them. Financi
It is probably a bad thing that I assumed this article would be Army related from the title.
So I'm 100% positive on those figures. And it's the same figures with disability. Which I know because "I" went through that! You are correct as long as you don't count your employers matching contributions. It is this additional tax that allows payments to non or undercontributors. I could be wrong on that as well I suppose. I don't hae the
That's a good point. Old people don't need to be provided for anyway - what are they going to do about it if they're mistreated or forced to live on the streets? They're old - you'd barely even need a water cannon to break up a pensioner riot. Let them starve to death. You are right... no matter what anyone does or doesn't do we
*edited to include drmiler's dispute over the payout arrangement of Social Security. I will have to do more research on this aspect. There is a nice article over at National Review</
You already know I agree with this, but I thought I'd drop in and say so anyway. always appreciated.
As you all know, the Virginia Tech shootings occurred recently, Keep the bullshit and asses but I would re-write this line to "Everyone here knows about the Virginia Tech shootings," or something to that effect as the original phrase is very passive and somewhat awkward even when spoken aloud. Nice pi

O'Reilly has been predicting this for weeks now and despite being pooh-pooh'ed by any number of other pundits he seems to be right. TMZ has now confirmed the buzz that we exclusively reported last night: Rosie O'Donnell will announce on today's show that she is leaving "The View." And TMZ has confirmed that
Sometimes I cruise the Net simply to accquaint myself with various strains of rhetoric. I find this useful as it helps me to spot when people who are presenting themselves as moderates are actually pushing much more extreme agendas than they let on. Second Seedline doctrine is a good example of this. Many conspiracy theorists appearing in
Russell Simmons is a hip-hop producer and also the motive force behind Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam. If you have ever sat through a Def Jam product you know that it promotes the worst of the "hip-hop" culture. he is also a massive hypocrite. Vulgarity, debasment of women, promotion of racial stereotypes, and outright rascism against non-blacks are the c
Tsk Tsk... with all that fiber you will have to go over your sheryl Crow TP allowance for today... Just get an enema instead to stay carbon neutral.

Isn’t that what we all want? Maybe not so much. I used to work at domino’s prior to getting my current job and I’ll let you in on a secret… (I sorta enjoyed the business end of the job). This shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows me as I am fascinated by virtually anything from ant behavior to the economics of traffic
For full disclosure my sister is actually a step-sister (one of 2) who is considerably older than me. My oldest niece is actually a couple years odler than I am. Bomber a few years younger. Their own father may have gone too heavy on discipline during their childhoods but it is hard to know as the man rarely said anything to anyone. I recall spending 14-16 hour days with him and hearing less than 4 or 5 sentences uttered. None of that excuses my sisters failures with her kids tho
The shot was probably Tramadol usually the brand is Ultram a mild pain killer. I am sure the morphine did a much better job though. I do not envy you that pain. I ahve had several soldiers come down with kidney stones and they all were at a loss to describe the pain. Glad you are feeling better and nice to see an FRG doing something for someone.
I have found that one of the best discipline tools has nothing to do with punishment at all. The more actual, attentive time I spend with my children, the more they respect what I have to say. I agree although I think more important later on in the toddler years rather than earlier when the kid's own willfullness leads them to actively

I lament the demise of the turn-based market but there are still a lonely few out there... and I buy em.
