Actually, I'm very happy to say that Krystal has been really good about sleeping through the night. We've got her trained pretty well. And while my brother and I share a very similar sense of humor, not everyone whom I grace with my presence will say likewise.... In fact my mom referred to any jokes that she didn't understand as "[citahellion] jokes."

SiRMetMan, just because SSGG is the only one who mentioned his satanic credentials doesn't mean he's the only one who has them. It's been a long time since I read the Satanic Bible, and it's been a long time since I lived with a Satanist, but I have done both.

It was just this past Sunday when Krystal stood up for the first time. And she didn't do it at all yesterday, or the day before, that I know of. Well. Today apparently was a different story. I went to play in my ping-pong league tonight, and Ann was home alone with Krystal, hanging out and watching her CSI and Law & Order and so forth,

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia Not to be (too much of) a spelling nazi, but there's only 5 P's in that, not 6. Hippopotomonstrosesqui p edaliophobia.

oh yeah, So now he changed the titles of them to stuff about jesus I saw that coming. I'm surprised he changed them so quickly, actually, I figured they might last until at least the wee hours of the morning to increase their visibility while still limiting the odds that a moderator would see them.

(I'm just figuring out your a mod of some sort) EvilPidge, Dharma's not a moderator, she's just a highly-rated (#2), well-liked and widely respected member of the JU community. Oh, and she is an "Elite" level user, meaning that the admins in particular also consider her well-liked and respected. <b

Considering that sleepy people in general make more mistakes than well-rested people, and that doctors are people, this really comes as no surprise to anyone with a modicum of sense. Which is to say, many people here on JU but not necessarily a significant percentage of the general population....

mig, I love the fact that this is an actual rhyming poem, in addition to being your usual interesting stuff.

Just a bit of linguistic trivia for you... The condition from which you suffer (grinding your teeth in your sleep, that is) is known as "bruxism." (I know, the dentist or doctor probably already told you that, but it's a great word, isn't it? )

While I am fairly sure that Kerry's little hunting expedition was a staged photo-op with all the underlying reality of a potemkin village, the idea that a firearm is "too expensive to use in the field" seems silly to me; it's like saying that a Porsche is too expensive to drive on the highways because it's way too easy to get into an accident.

Say if I'm a Red Sox fan (which I am, go Sox!), if a close call at the plate goes their way, why would anyone who supports the Red Sox make a determined effort to question the call that could potentially give the Cardinals an additional run? That doesn't make any sense at all. See, this is exactly what'

If someone got in my face like that, I would be severely torn between being nice (as you were) and countering with equally extreme examples, such as "Well, why stop at killing her unborn child, then, why not kill the mom too? That way you'll make sure that she doesn't need any more abortions later on either. Plus being retarded and on welfare, she's just a drain on society, so you're really doing the country a favor by getting rid of her. If her chi

EvilPidge, It's not the electoral college's fault that you live in a heavily republican area. You can always move if you feel that strongly about it.

Danke Schön In the absence of extended character sets, the umlaut is commonly rendered as an "e" following the letter to have been umlauted. So, "Danke Schoen". Or as I like to say it, "Donkey Shame."

Since he believes in Satan he must believe in the Christian God too, so he's a confused Christian I wouldn't necessarily say he's confused. The true satanist, as you point out, believes in the existence of God, but specifically rejects the message of salvation/redemption, since the cost (abstinence, de

So it seems like just yesterday I was writing about how Krystal finally has a tooth. Okay, maybe it seems like two days ago. But anyway! Yesterday she was playing under the ping-pong table and somehow managed to flop her arms over one of the struts and end up kind of standing up. I wasn't entirely sure if it should count as a full stand because her arms were carry

'hittus onus headus withus brickus" I would think that would tend to induce further unconsciousness, although it does of course depend upon the intensity of the impact. Perhaps if you went with "calculi trajectus cranium" instead. <BR
