Blast! That explains the Ringworms rise to the top - we must redouble our efforts to overcome this.
Wild Wombat
EBZ: Tiny maps now? Even more superhuman efficiency? You'll be finishing maps between mouthfuls of dinner, next! :D
Hurley - start in the old Freedom Force thread and follow the prompts...goes to the Jedi and Canuck threads from there!
Killa - help me out here - still can't figure FriendJosh moving from ANZAC to MWC. Mid-west connection? What gives?
It's an old chestnut, Bluewulf. As it stands, the Metaverse, to quote my favourite summary from Ray, rewards commitment over skill. That is, just submit lots of games rather that have to prove it at a high level of difficulty. At the end of the day, it's Stardock's call - it's the way they want it, and I don't think they have lots of spare development money to go about recoding it. Accept it, and play for fun.
As an operator of an approved franchise, I can tell you this straight from the manual: you can be GROSS, or you can be GROSS roadkill! ;)
Bakka's trail is absolutely PRICELESS! He's made just the right milage out of being unattached for the moment - and waltzing through the other empires threads....stroke of bloody genius.... ...if I don't have a coronary first... :sniff!:
Killa! That's not something his nemesis would say! And that's our boy Staffa on top - what are you thinking!! Ah...trying to lull him into a false sense of security, ayy......
This isn't going to be a 23-part miniseries, is it? I mean, I can't stand the stress..... LOL
OK...a dance through the Empires...I LOVE IT!!!! You bastard!!! LOL
Great story Bakka! Sheesh - keeping us in suspense, hey.....come on over with the koala, the penguin, ajm and I, mate.....
It goes without saying Ray that congrats are in order when you break 100k.
Echo that Ray - as someone who is NEVER likely to do it, I'll be waiting with cheers too. :)
unless ray did double submitting too, kinda lame.
I know, but it's just such an ironically piratical move...like a dagger between the ribs from out of the shadows....delicious.... ;)
Hey - Staffa just broke the 100,000 point barrier! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: On to ONE MILLION FOR GROSS!!! :D
My objection to joining is the tendency to 'play the metaverse' rather than to play the game.
Yep - definately possible to fall into this temptation - but really, I strongly urge you to play for enjoyment. You need to join a mob who feel the same way...pirates do stuff at a whim, for whatever gain they happen to desire at that particular point in time...sound like you? Hmmm?
Quick update: Staffa just became the first player to break the 100,000 point barrier! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: Congrats - and now: on to ONE MILLION for GROSS!
THE CROWD ERUPTS!!!! YOU LEGEND STAFFA!!!! UNBELIEVABLE VICTORY TO DA MAN!!! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: Gallant effort Ray! Too bad about the cyclone...you're are still a Metaverse legend in your own right [Wombat bows in deep respect]. Phew...that certainly livened up the morning....
My money is on either Darkhorse9 or Bimbo15!
Cotal! I thought Bimbo15 was YOUR secret identity code! ;) You're a born pirate, girl - come sail the seven seas with us!
re laughs: anyone a fan of Gary Larsen, of The Far Side fame? Now there's a guy who knew what to do with animals......
Enter the Dweeb After the latest haul from Hobart, the Pegasus met up with the Doom and Wild Wombat strode up the gangplank to undertake his formal orientation. He stumbled on the last step, crashing into KitWarrior. "Welcome to the Doom, boys!" Kit showed them to the small galley, alongside the spacious and attractive fully serviced bar. Wombat rushed to take in the alcoholic ambiance, but stood on Koala's paw in the process. Kit explained the purpose of the in
I'll put my money on Ray the Wanderer.
Well - big surprise there! I hear that Singapore is in the middle of a cyclone, though - power shortages across the city. How will Ray play with no juice?! WAKE UP STAFFA!!! COME ON PONTIUS!!!
Not a one.
[Sigh] I remember that time...head out to the theatre, movies, whatever...on a whim, no need to consider the kids...Sunday morning papers in bed, undisturbed 'til lunchtime...Oh God.. (:( ...must stop... mk31bolo - jump in anytime! And thanks for the C&H!
Drifting....bump back up to the top
MWC?!?!?!?! Wha...? OK, I can't explain that... Yes, I give my kids unbelievable free reign in choice of footy teams - I bet Hurley's all barrack black and white; no lack of discipline in Collingwood households. 10 kids...[shudder]...I'd be a poor destitute wombat...still, at least here it's all pretend, right? Right? And are there any baby koalas in the nest?
Hey, these things take time!
I know! No criticism intended, Gerakken - applause for your great work so far! I'm just itchin' to get stuck into those locations....
