Gengsta, do we really have the opportunity to submit our games a second time?
Gengsta is correct, Ray - you get two (and only two) chances. I often have submission probs where I get an 'anomolous' with zero score. Reloading from the last autosave and resubbing saves me. Stardock's own docs state you get two chances to submit.
Wild Wombat
Enter the Dweeb After the latest haul from Hobart, the Pegasus met up with the Doom and Wild Wombat strode up the gangplank to undertake his formal orientation. He stumbled on the last step, crashing into KitWarrior. "Welcome to the Doom, boys!" Kit showed them to the small galley, alongside the spacious and attractive fully serviced bar. Wombat rushed to take in the alcoholic ambiance, but stood on Koala's paw in the process. Kit explained the purpose of the in
Watched the Swans game on the tube - really entertaining! Bazza Hall's three goals in the last quarter including an amazing soccer off the ground. Hurley - thank you for your remarkable restraint regarding the Collingwood-Carlton scoreline; well - we aren't going to give anyone much of a contest for the next few years, anyway....Oh, and that hit on Brodie Holland just before half time? Mate, I saw it all - he was struck by a low flying seagull; Camporeale had nothing to do with it....<b
I gotta take some vids back to the rental counter
Family spent last night sitting down to Star Trek: Nemesis...not bad at all. Pontius is obviously married with children (me too) - you see a lot of the video store in that phase of life....
He realized you dweebs weren't coming back. What a relief!
Grrr...I'll deal with you later.... ;p
I may not be the best or most creative writer but at least I contribute on the forums unlike the Canadians or some other empires that are inactive on the forums
Correct, Darth Bob (and not about your quality). Participation is what counts most towards the environment. Interestingly, a small thread has sprung up trying to lure the Canucks out - I'd really like to hear from them and the Euros on a regulat basis.
Echo that Hoop Snake - hope you (and Bakka) become part of the franchise! Definately got some things cookin' upstairs re stories. May as well write, cause I've apparently submitted too many games in July. Someone explain the system to me: I submitted a 6760 point game today that raised my Metaverse score from 42860 to 42955. Now that's no reward! :sniff!: Ahh Gengsta...the fine art of sarcasm lives on...you just lack (a lot of) finesse... And Killa - did you see that Adrian Hi
The multiple submission IS cruel, though. I'be been committed in July - just submitted a 6760 point game and it raised my Metaverse score from 42860 to 42955 - I mean, sheesh......
Yeah - come on Bakka - adventures a-plenty to be had by bear, penguin, wombat and bat!
Good luck mate...the ASS...you'll keep me supplied with straight lines for the next six weeks.... LOL
Xibex - welcome! If you start to feel a cold sensation rising up your extremities, your circulation slow and your heart eventually stop....you will truly be a member of the CSF. The real test, of course, is whether any of them take issue with this post and reply to it! Seriously, good on you for trying - get those countrymen of yours involved!
Sheesh, the literary criticism got a bit thick in here, didn't it?
Killa Koala, Wild Wombat, and Hurley (where's bakka?) are extremely creative and I love their stories. BUT I went away for a few of hours and came back to find two whole pages of crap!
Thanks Kit - and happy to provide some entertainment. Which is, after all, what the literary offerings are here - an adjunct to game playing, for me anyway. The writing has given me a reason to play on, when I woul
I shall endeaver to be more plastic, obtuse, and show all the fake intellectual wannabe you desire in the future. In the meantime, do try and express a little bit of creativity and come up with a new comeback line
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL Great stories people - keep 'em coming! Killa - good luck to the Swannies! Hurls, ajm - go men, go (where are ya, ajm? Score for us, but talk to us too!) This GROSS franchise has stirred this up, but goo
Wild Wombat stood at the command deck of the newly christened Pegasus, listening to the confused chatter across the comm bands. The fabulous Precursor ship carved its way through the inky blackness like a great silent hunter bearing down on its prey. There was a great deal of idle talk about the new franchise and whether it would meet expectations: Wombat was certain it would return a handsome dividend. At the very least, Wombat himself was very handsome, and he was sure that this would mean a g
Wild Wombat's slip fighter roared out from the launch tube of the Pegasus into a weaving mass of capital ships and smaller craft. Despite all his clumsiness, this was an environment that he knew well; he had been taught to press the red button, then the green button followed by the blue button to make the fighter work properly. Now he was going to take some decisive action. He scanned the MWC comm channels repeatedly, searching for the name, the name, the NAME....and finally he
Ahh...we evolve, Gengsta...we evolve to greatness and mastery of the Metaverse! We shed those old skins when we grew too big for them....and we shall sail the southern skies and plunder them for GROSS! As for wizards...they did enough of their own recruiting when it suited them. When we 'liberate' resources from the southern Metaverse for our own use, we might even leave a bit of money on the fridge, out of kindness....
Ahhh...back from a rest. And what's this I see? Yo... Killa Koala !! [checks scanner] Hmmm...and a rust bucket merchant scow off the starboard side - I see the word ASS painted on the side and can't work out if that refers to the vessel or its contents..... ;p
Game on.
Game on indeed, wizard...and this time, we come with universal corporate backing....arrrr! ;)
Thanks, Dread Capt'n Pontius...and VICTORY TO GROSS! LOL
Note to all: I have officially wound up Freedom Force . Since it was my name at the top, and I didn't feel right with that still there and being part of GROSS, I figured it was my call. At the time of writing, Hurley and I are wearing the skull-and-crossbones, and we expect Drop Bear to join us soon. All others seeking a theme and wanting a good time as a pirate of the southern seas are welcome to join the franchise. I feel I should say something momentous - but there's no real po
From the wild one: 1. Drink beer Unfortunately, I tend to do this first - you can see why I never make it to maso level.... 2. Techno whoring 3. Alpha strike
Hey...I look damn good in crimson....
Wombat could hardly take in all the happenings over the past few days. In orbit around Palain Seven comtemplating a ground mission, the discussions were suddenly interrupted by Hurley at the helm yelling out: "Hey guys...the ground's awful clo". Then everything went black. The blasted Yor had tracked the Avatar and fired a missile salvo, striking amidships. The brave Avatar fell to earth and burst apart like a ripe melon, spilling its contents over the frozen surface. The heroe
