They made RA3 for you then, its all boobs and bears [e digicons][/e]
Ah. There's Jon's mistake. Jon, in Civ IV, you had all the wrong Great People. Your Great People should have been Pamela Anderson, Cindy Margolis, Cindy Crawford, etc.. And they're all Great Merchants. All of them. Don't ask me what they're selling.
and I know that not every game can't make me masturbate... oh sorry for the harsh word. I mean, make me enjoy it like crazy.
Those are two different award categories in a game. For the former I think more in terms of the C&C series. I mean look at that GDI chick in the cutscenes. :) Oh and the Allied chick in RA2. But not Tanya--she's overrated. I also love those Shadow Maidens in HOMMV. Wowie! :) I e

Might I inject that Jon loves the WRONG wargame. No, no, not Panzer General. That thing is so outdated (at the least love Fantasy General--I mean come on, this is Elemental). Let me introduce you to the greatest Civ game ever: Rise of Nations:Thrones & Patriots. Yes. Trumpet blast. Confetti. And I'm wearing a cup, you all, so don't even think about kicking me in the balls.

Nice welcoming party for Jon. LOL. [e digicons]^_^[/e] I find it hard to believe anybody had a personal dislike for Jon or even that many people here knew who he was. I think people just see the words "Lead Designer - Civ V" and put two and two together. I know I do. But then...everybody starts saying the Lead Designer of Civ V had nothing to do with Civ V being bad??? Insult my intelligence all you want, you're not going to g

What we need is a chef Gordon Ramsey for gaming. Put the food on the hot plate, the head chef inspects it. And if it is not up to par, it doesn't go out; even if it means the people do not get served. If the whole thing is a failure, shut the kitchen down. In gaming, this position has been regarded as "unnecessary" and they slashed it.

That's great that Elemental sales grew for 3 months. But realistically, I think January will be the first month that run ends and sales will drop (unless something major is in that news). I haven't bought it yet, though, so I can honestly say there is at least 1 more sale yet to be made.

Stardock's talent pool seems too entrenched in Windows. For better or worse.... Plus I am very concerned about the video and sound drivers on Linux. You would have to target Mac first and foremost, and then any other flavors of Linux come just as a bonus. Granted, the market is wide open for some gaming company to go in and release their latest-and-greatest games to Mac and Linux--preferably games that work well on laptops, because that's what Mac is doin

I'm thinking in terms of the 1TB network drives--or really 1 or 2 SATA drives and fit them in those external casings that turns them into network drives. But capacity is not really my primary concern--I'm more worried about the web browser thrashing my SSD drive with tons of writes. Anyone know of any laptops that can take 2 SD cards at the same time? That would be ideal, I'd think.

Civ IV is looking to be worth the $6 I paid for it. I played IV when it first came out, but now they've got all the expansions and patches. Looks like the enhancements are mostly "you spoke we listened" type things. It's pretty fun now. The problem is just that the fun is spread out over many, many hours, like all the Civ series are. You sure burn a lot of your life to see how all your strategic decisions pan out. I think I like how Sins o

People are talking in terms of 2 drives on their laptops. Only the big laptops have 2 bays (?). What about having only 1 bay and that is an SSD?

Yeah, I was thinking that. I don't think I even want to thrash VM. I would rather have the crash. But there's still the temporary internet files from your browser.
when you say "would certainly make things worse if allowed to run that way".....do you mean in general even when no smell is emitting. Or should i just turn the thing off when the smell eminates which is only when im running one program. (So ill just not run that program)
If you're getting the smell, then you're definitely letting things get worse if you keep running it like that. If you're not getting the smell, things will probably still get worse over tim
