Shameless D you're a madman thank you so much for this post. I'm gonna give it a try when I get back and let you know what happens. Every time I take a screenshot my cursor never shows either. thanks again

Thats kinda how I found skinning. I bought a copy of some PC magazine that had a promotional cd packaged in the wrapper, it had a link to StyleXP on it. I liked it at first until I found out there were alternatives. Not being a computer user for very long I had no idea thee were other programs out there that are similar. Maybe that is an alternative marketing source Stardock should look into. Just a thought <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0

Shameless D ... I just took a look at that skin but .. the All Programs part of the start panel is one solid color as opposed to CopperDeck II whick has a glassy look to it. I don't think *there I go again* it would work the same.

Koa .... thanks for the help but I guess I'm more "thick" than I care to admit. I did as you suggested but I noticed no change. If you load "CopperDeck II" and open the "All Programs" menu there is a graphic being used for "hover" I would think then that there would be a way to also do this on the "Start" menu, I guess I'm wrong. Thanks for your help!! If anybody wants to enlighten both myself and Koa, we're not going anywhere ... thanks. Recycling the grease to make frenc

I need a little help please. In the start menu when you hover over the All Programs button the default color apears on alot of skins, on others the graphic stays the same and only the color of the arrow changes color. OK, my question is what properties do I need to change to get the "hover" graphic to stay the same on, say "CopperDeck II" I've been in skin studio for a couple hours and just can't figure it out <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/wink.gif" border=0 ALIGN=

The only way I know how to change a sysmetrix is to open it in photoshop or paint or a similar program and edit the graphics and size there. When you have it the way you want it open sysmetrix config and change all the settings so they match-up with the graphics again. If theres another way somebody will let you know I'm sure.
