I have an idea but I can't do it so I'll post it here, maybe someone will like it too. When the start menu is first opened the user pane is transparent all for little "pods" which laser lights "scan" the user pane and "draw" it as they move back and forth. A daunting task I know but it sounds like a winner to me.

Well latin, now I guess is the time to learn SS. I know what you mean though, it is a bit confusing for me too. My main problem is the graphics though, I am very new to all this as well and it's hard for me to find the time to practice practice practice. I'm meerly suggesting you practice while you have the opportunity is all. If I had the time I would be in PhotoShop all day trying to get it right but alas ... I work too much for PS perfection. You seem to have some extra time on your hands so I'll ask you a favor ..... go here http://www.eyeball-design.com/fxzone/frames02.htm , practice some of the tutorials and make a windowblind that would make the GUI Gods shout from Mount Pixolympus. When and if you do I'm sure we will all comment on it and let you know what we think. I just think you can use your free time more productively, you even made a screensaver, maybe you could put that tallent to work as animations in the WB.<br

SMBinary https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=4&SkinID=243 is what got me to use OB but the lack of creativity has turned me off. It seems it's just used for people to make their WB's for another application. If it had more creative skins/themes like Talisman II or hoverdesk I think I would start useing it again. JMO.
