I heard about it on IGMOO, but mostly on Apolyton. Oh, and that gigantic game... I only have it on common (not abundant), but I have 5(!) yellow stars in my starting sector, some with more than 1 15+ planet. I thought it would be cakewalk given that start and that I was in the biggest cluster... but I've already met the Altarians and Arceans, so I'm going to have a lot of landgrab competition.

This could be long, so short version: I'm quite impressed by the game and the support from Stardock :) long version: I heard favorable stuff about the game from some people on other forums, and took a look at this site (particularly the encyclopedia), and decided to get it. I looked through the FAQs I could find, and saw some threads on this from before, but couldn't find a solution. I emailed the sales@stardock guys in the morning but haven't gotten a response for some 6 hours, so here I am: I'm trying to buy GalCiv on the online Stardock store (so I can download it without waiting, as I lack the ability to get to a retail store), but it rejects my credit card information when I try to submit the order. I've checked the numbers many, many, many times, a
