Nakor, i agree with your points on Neo being able to see past his choice, it makes for all more a plot on what his true abilities are and how they keep growing and developing. Also it ties in with the fact on a previous point of how people who are freed from the matrix are humans on a higher level of thinking, maybe even super humans and we could consider Neo being like a professor x or even a apocalypse from the future who no one knows why he got there.
