I don't see the user levels anywhere on my profile or other profiles... is it a matter of time or is that another feature that will be changed?

Hehehe this is like walking into a new house... not sure where all the rooms are yet!
Happy Belated Birthday, Cowboy!! Hope you had a big Texas style one!
SP2 would only allow me to save. A friend of mine told me he can't download unless he saves it since his installation of SP2 and he's trying to find a way around it. If he finds a way I'll post it here to see if it helps you. If it's your firewall... then I have no clue.
I assume you have Stardock Central.... if not just go to Stardock and it will be on top and left where the down-loads are.
Open Stardock Central. On the left click once on Object Desktop, then on the right under Theme Manager you'll see "Object Desktop Documentation" double click that and it will open the manual for OD.
I think it's just better to wait a while until they work more of the bugs out before I reinstall Windows XP SP2.
Ladyen- I just started myself. Open the DesktopX document and start experimenting with IconX and you'll get the hang of it. Within an hour I had icons bouncing and reacting to mouse action. Go slow and change one thing at a time to see how it affects the icon. Hope this helps you out.
Did you install Windows SP2? When I got SP2 I had problems just like yours. It messed up my system and had to get rid of SP2 before I could get my PC back to normal. Hope this helps.
I guess I'm somewhat of an autodidact but since I'm not very familiar with the nomencalture for skinning I'm relying on accurate graphics to help me out. I already started playing around with icons and animations... they're quite fun. And, I haven't blown up the PC.....YET!! <img src="http://images.s
I'm stumped as well, because I know I never downloaded a clock, so, it has to have been part of some program. Think I'll try one of these clocks you gave me. BTW, I have never used ObjectBar but I might eventually. Thanks, aufisch.
Languages is my thing not computers but I've become addicted to Wincustomize and playing with my desktop!! Comprende? So I'm trying to learn how to work with all the features of ODX by reading the manual. I think the old version was more user friendly. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/
ausfisch when you click on "In the queen's service" it will show you a different shot and that's the one that shows the clock.
Thanks aufisch- so where can I find a current document that goes with the new ObjectDesktop?
aufisch- I changed the picture that had the digiital clock.... you can see it if you do a search in screenshots for ( "In the Queen's Service" ). I'm not sure what program it came with, but I had it before I bought DesktopX... you could change the color to go with any skin. It had to have come with one of the programs here because I never downloaded any clock. A long time ago someone asked a skin designer about the digital clock he had in a preview... The author told the person to
Will try that. Thanks, Jingles.
OK I I'm not sure if I have some inferior/older version "Theme Manager".... the one in the manual has three buttons on the left: "Available Suites", "Create Suite", and "Settings", also "Add/Remove" button, "Suite info" button and "Display Properties" button.... none of these buttons/options are on my Theme Manager nor under File or Tools above.
I've been reading the Object Desktop document in order to become more familiar with the program.... at any rate, my SDC and Theme Manager do not look like the pictures in the literature. The pictures of the "Theme Manager" and "SDC" in the manual seems to have different/more buttons and options. It will be a lot easier to follow the instructions if they look alike, so is there some setting that I need to change in order to make them look the same? Please click on my name so you can se
Thank you, Night Train.
Thanks, Yrag.
P.S. Do I have the correct name? I just found a couple of suites but they are "io" and "Quagmire".
Well, no wonder then! Where can I view them, I went to Stardock but I didn't see them.... would you mind giving me the link. Thanks for your reply, Koasati.
I saw a skin I really liked in screenshots ( "Code Name Longhorn" ).... I believe the name of the WB is "Oxidized", but when I did a search nothing with that name came up. Does anyone know where I can find it?
Is there an easy way to manipulate the color of objects, widgets, or rainlendar skins? Something like the way one can alter color in WB skins.
Hello people I'm playing hide and seek yet again with that clock!! I did a system restore and have managed to loose that "elusive" little digital clock, again!! I know it is part of one of the proggies here but I can't figure out which one do any of you know how to find it?? <img src="http://images.stardock.
