SP2 would only allow me to save. A friend of mine told me he can't download unless he saves it since his installation of SP2 and he's trying to find a way around it. If he finds a way I'll post it here to see if it helps you. If it's your firewall... then I have no clue.

Open Stardock Central. On the left click once on Object Desktop, then on the right under Theme Manager you'll see "Object Desktop Documentation" double click that and it will open the manual for OD.

Ladyen- I just started myself. Open the DesktopX document and start experimenting with IconX and you'll get the hang of it. Within an hour I had icons bouncing and reacting to mouse action. Go slow and change one thing at a time to see how it affects the icon. Hope this helps you out.

I guess I'm somewhat of an autodidact but since I'm not very familiar with the nomencalture for skinning I'm relying on accurate graphics to help me out. I already started playing around with icons and animations... they're quite fun. And, I haven't blown up the PC.....YET!! <img src="http://images.s

Languages is my thing not computers but I've become addicted to Wincustomize and playing with my desktop!! Comprende? So I'm trying to learn how to work with all the features of ODX by reading the manual. I think the old version was more user friendly. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/

aufisch- I changed the picture that had the digiital clock.... you can see it if you do a search in screenshots for ( "In the Queen's Service" ). I'm not sure what program it came with, but I had it before I bought DesktopX... you could change the color to go with any skin. It had to have come with one of the programs here because I never downloaded any clock. A long time ago someone asked a skin designer about the digital clock he had in a preview... The author told the person to

OK I I'm not sure if I have some inferior/older version "Theme Manager".... the one in the manual has three buttons on the left: "Available Suites", "Create Suite", and "Settings", also "Add/Remove" button, "Suite info" button and "Display Properties" button.... none of these buttons/options are on my Theme Manager nor under File or Tools above.

I've been reading the Object Desktop document in order to become more familiar with the program.... at any rate, my SDC and Theme Manager do not look like the pictures in the literature. The pictures of the "Theme Manager" and "SDC" in the manual seems to have different/more buttons and options. It will be a lot easier to follow the instructions if they look alike, so is there some setting that I need to change in order to make them look the same? Please click on my name so you can se

I saw a skin I really liked in screenshots ( "Code Name Longhorn" ).... I believe the name of the WB is "Oxidized", but when I did a search nothing with that name came up. Does anyone know where I can find it?
