P.S. I've got a question: My ISP is Comcast and when ZA Pro is running it won't open the TV listings from my home page I have to turn it off if I want to view them. You know how I can get it to stop doing that without turning it off?

I couldn't find it at first. Don't know if this is germane, but the system restore I did was for more than a month back. At any rate when I went to look for it "ZA Pro" started the fifteen day trial all over again. ( I was only a few days into it the fifteen days weren't up yet). Since it's a trial version I thought it was the latest version. To tell you the truth I'm not sure I'll install the SP2 at all. Since this is the second time a windows update messe

BTW, I restored to a date before the "Service Pack 2" and got rid of the security center thingy. I just tried it as a last resort and didn't really expect it to work and voila!! Didn't have to do a full system restoration.

OK I did what you said and the new SysMetrix installed fine.... the new version is up and running, thank you. Yes, the SP2 Security Center did recognize ZA. Yrag, I used to click on "Download" and then I would get the option to either hit 'open' or 'save', but now after I click 'open' another window opens saying the file cannot be opened by the default program because it's either corrup

Hi Yrag_ 3.2.0 is what I have and 3.24 is what the new version is.... I tried removing SP2 from add/remove in Control Panel but it will not allow me to remove it because at says SP2 did not install completely all it will give me the option to do is remove it from the list... but apparently enough installed to be giving me problems. No, I closed Sysmetrix before upgrading. To tell you guys the truth my pc has been acting a little wierd since I got the "WindowsXP SP2". I can't open and run files, and even when I change the security options nothing changes. Could that have anything to do with it? This is the second time a "Windows Update" messes up my PC. Need help with SysMetrix in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

I am trying to upgrade "SysMetrix" to a newer version.... and according to what I read it is not necessary to uninstall the old version. However, when I try to install the new version I keep getting the following error in the setup: Error opening file for writing: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSWINSCK.OCX" Hit abort to abort installation, retry to retry writing the file, or ignore to skip this file. I'm not sure I understand.... if all the files are in the same folder and they were all downloaded the same way and pretty much at the same time.... then why do only some show up in the skins list? I have also refreshed and closed and reopened the rainy and the list remains the same.

They don't show up in the skins list when I right click on the rainy. However, when I go to C:>program files>Rainlendar>Skins, they are there.... so apparently they are in the rainlendar folder. Glassteel, CopperDeck II, Christmas Time, are a few of the ones that don't show up in the skins list, but do show up in the folder.

Need help! Since last night I've been getting the following errror message every time I try to download: "Internet Explorer cannot download..... from www.wincustomize.com." Have a question and need help re-downloading 2 skins. in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

I'm trying to re-download "Windows 2004" by Boxxi and "Mocha Delight" by Crissy14 WindowBlinds, however, regardless of what I do I cannot seem to achieve it. When I do it directly from WC site it goes through the motions, but when the bubble appears it just says: " a skin called " has been installed".
