I chose for the .NET framework, as more and more .NET software is becoming available. While .NET framework programs might load slower than a conventional program at first, they load quite a lot faster when a few of them are running already (as parts of the framework are already prelinked in memory). Further, it means that when the next version of the framework arrives (in the near future), the program can take advantage of new accellerated functions. P

It creates a temporary shortcut. You can customize the drive's using iconpackager or similar, and the shortcut's icon will automatically be the same.

I just finished a first release of new program; DeskMount. It will mimic some behavior known from MacOS and Linux etc. : When you insert/attach a new storage medium, a shortcut will be created on the desktop automatically. Remove the medium, and the shortcut will disappear. Does someone know about a free tool to create .png files from SVG? I use incscape to create my icons, but the export bitmap function always removes the anti-aliasing somehow - after which the resulting icon sucks... I need either a tool that does it better, or a hint to make incscape do it nicely... Thanks!

Personally, I believe ObjectDock should support SVG Images... Either scaled on-the-fly, or pre-rendered internally, SVG support would surely be great : always neatly scaled images with smooth lines, great at ANY size. I'm in favor of Windows support for SVG icons too, by the way. No matter what resolution your display may have, SVG images should always be of high quality! Who of you agrees with me, and who doesn't? And WHY of course...

Frogboy Changing images for shortcuts still doesn't work for me. If I change the image for an exisiting shortcut, and then quit the dock, and restart ObjectDock, the shortcut has reverted to the previous image.

I like the new tab feature very much,I've been waiting for something like this! However, I noticed the following bugs (according to me): - I only have a tabbed dock.
