That is indeed what's going on it looks like. I dug up an old med/maso save and refinished it--it resubbed at just shy of 57k, when it was originally right around 30k (not sure exactly what it originally was since I accidentally wrote down the score from the tiny just above it :SURPRISED:)

I used to save intermittently along the way... but that took up too much space. So now I just keep one save of each game, which I overwrite whenever I want to set a hard save in addition to the autos. I simply name them maso1, maso2, maso3 (obviously they're all masos.. if I played lower I'd name them accordingly)... so far I'm up to 23 I believe for my current game.

I've put in a couple gig masos but the time investment just isn't really worth it IMO... though with the scoring boosts in 1.11 you should be able to come very close if not to 60k with a huge maso now. And a large can still net you 45k, which is not bad by any means...

vincible, changing your nick on wincustomize only changes what's displayed--you still keep the same 'player name' and as such all your games, so that wouldn't really get him what he wants...

The metaverse gods have smiled upon me! For no readily apparent reason my score increased by nearly 20,000 points at some point this afternoon! Where the boost came from I have no idea, especially since I haven't submitted anything since Saturday... Regardless, as long as the boost stays, I'm only 2 or 3 games away from the number one evil ranking in the metaverse!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Cari, a screenshot showing that particular instance of illegal starbases is en-route to your email right now. I think I saw some elsewhere but I cannot recall which game it was (and I only keep one save of each game so they may not even exist at the point it is saved at) so I cannot get a screenshot of more of them unless I run into more next time I play. AFAIK, the statbot was made completely by hand, from scratch (except the pie charts), by idle and kasualkid.
1 IP bribes are still in with 1.11. Brad has said that he's more concerned with fixing things that affect all players and not just the masochists, so this may or may not be fixed even in the next patch.
If you check the date on his post, Alverin, you'll see it predates RB's entrance to the metaverse by two months...
Hopefully evrybody who isn't planning on really staying for the long run will get it out of their system and go back from whence they came soon... I've been considering a serious empire change for some time but I'm not going to do it as long as the hopping continues... >:(
