Time will tell though if they all stay...
Is Senator Palpatine the Evil Emperor, are they the same person? Because they look like the same person to me?
In addition to Obi-Wan's explanation, well, they call him Emperor Palpatine for a reason. Although I can't remember off the top of my head whether they do that at any point in the original trilogy or just in EU (yes I'm a Star Wars nut and yes I should be in JR... but not right now ;))
Pay no mind to those evil empire nazis, come support your homeland! :D
I submitted a maso tiny alliance victory earlier today under 1.10 and it's score originally was 19,160. After updating to 1.11, the score is now 32,440 (69% higher point total).
Did they remove the non-military victory score nerfs?
Meh. Look at my profile (which, I must say, was the first on galciv to have a pic, excepting karmagirl :P) and cower before the power of the overwhelming cold :HOT:
Craig "Gyb" Gibbens: I see that you are from Iowa. So why not come together with other proud Midwesterners and contribute your score to help us climb to the top of the empire rankings? There's no need to stay out all on your own; we of the MWC invite you to join us today! :D Go to http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=132 and click the button to join us!
SILENCE!!!! The secret of profile propaganization must not be revealed!!!
Might as well get things rolling for the newest patch. And to start things off, it seems that the AI is not bound to the new starbase rules--in my first 1.11 game I found that the Drengins had constructed a group of starbases, with two of them closer than the new rules allow (one was a tile to the right and two above the other--a position that the rules prohibited me from duplicating).
Destroying ships does get you extra points though. Sometimes before finishing the game by non-military means, I'll just build several excaliburs and set them to auto attack, then declare war on the remaining AIs--just to boost my military score :P
1.11 is up as of this afternoon on SDC...
Look at what I did to my profile, and cower in admiriation, little evil ones :D :D
Woohoo! Check out what I did to my profile everybody :HOT:
He's cheering for the Brits to win the Cup, I believe...
just look at Mauler 28 and jon50. They are cranking out games
Mauler hasn't submitted since last weekend :notsure:
If you get Darth Kryo, you may generate enough momentum to eventually take down the Fellowship.
Conversely, if MWC had Captain Mayito we'd be ahead of GROSS right now by 55k (until Jaws goes back anyhow)!
Well anyhow, I just finished up another gigantic maso which I decided to try just to see if I could get it to go a bit better than the last one. It started out great. I had a good spot and managed to grab pretty much the entire upper left of the map, and all of the majors except the Torians (who eventually surrendered their two systems to me) were pretty balanced in how many systems each of them got. Unfortunately, the Drengins, Yor, and Arceans all got inferiority complexes and surrend

The reason is unknown, but this is a long-standing bug that has yet to be quashed. All you need to do to get the ships back is save, quit, restart, and reload.
Metaverse budget ran out some time ago. So there is about a 0.000000000000000000001% chance of there being any updates, barring severe errors cropping up that need fixed. Any additions will not be soon, that much is certain :(
99% of the fun is helping the empire get there, Theo. Sadly that is the reason that if I do choose to move to another empire, it will not be FOTR. Simply because you're in first, and where's the fun in joining the empire that's already #1 so that my score will be totally moot? If I do move, it will definately be to a LOWER empire. :notsure: All I can say for now is that there are three empires that I have considered moving to if I decide to move. And one of them won't exist u
There are still lots of things that could be done with the MWC statbot... it's just a matter of coming up with ideas and idle being able to implement them :P
The Bush Doctrine is merely an evolution of the doctrines of previous Presidents, going all the way back to Monroe. So are you saying that all of the Presidents (such as Teddy Roosevelt, one of the greatest Presidents in our history) since then were unAmerican too?
Hmm lets see. Who does it now? THE AMERICANS, of course. The UN does jack shit, and don't kid yourself by thinking otherwise.
Darth Kryo? That has a good ring to it...
Oddly enough, that's the name I thought of using in the event that I did join the Jedi LOL
