Also mayito, part of the problem with MWC is it is not as big as it looks. We have a good number of players who joined long ago but never posted or only posted once. Whereas the other top empires have many more active, high-scoring players than we do. Our problem is not lack of trying, it is lack of being able to attract more top players (which, given the 300k gap between us and GROSS, is what we would need to get any farther).

I'd imagine if you wanted to get VirtualPC and put it on your Mac, you might be able to. But why you'd want to try it on there, instead of just having a PC, is beyond my comprehension LOL

Even if you can't trade for trasports, you can send a small ship to destroy them in orbit if there are no combat ships present. Generally, transports and colony ships will take their default loadout worth of people along for the ride when they get destroyed, making the following conquest much easier LOL

I'm gathering that your monitor is designed for a hihger resolution and is stretching (with much garbling) the display to fit? If this is the case there is most likely a setting somewhere to disable stretching and let you play below-optimum resolutions in a letterbox format. Keep looking, it's probably in there somewhere.

Besides, since Excaliburs are right near the end of the tech tree, if you have time to build hordes of them then you've got time to just research a tech victory. So (even though there would be a huge score difference) the game ends at that point either way.

Actually all you need to do is save a Winamp playlist (.m3u format) into that directory. Then you'll be able to pick from the playlists you saved there once you're in the game. Also note that, in addition to MP3s, WMA files seem to work. OGGs do not though, at least for me. So be careful what sort of files you put in the playlist, or some of your songs may just not play.
