I have tried to submit my first game a couple of times today, but it does not appear in the Metaverse. Is there a problem with me or the Metaverse?

Same here. Although, I wish it would take me last submission. I replayed the last few turns so I could re-submit, and this time the Drengin surrendered to me and my score was 4 times higher than my first submission. :(
I finally got my copy yesterday...Yea!! Anyway, 2 VERY minor bugs / UI issues. 1) At the very beginning of the game, on the Graphs section of the Domestic Policy screen, the beginning date on the timeline has a funky date: Dec 357916. Screenshot here: http://www.geocities.com/zorven 2) On the first turn I moved my ships and then hit the turn button. The screen still showed the date as Jan 2178. It did change to Feb as soon as I moved a ship, but it seems the date
If upgrading doesn't work, try downloading their program Smart Exception (I think that is the name). That would give StarDock alot of info to track down your problem.
"I never figured out the blue arrow on the ship list screen. Whenever I click on it, it seems to move the wrong ship, or move it to the wrong place" If you are talking about what I think you are, clicking the arrow next a ship listing will sent that ship to the sector you looking at in the main view. It could be you are experiencing a bug if that is not what is happening for you.
FYI... A4 is 210mm by 297mm Letter is 215.9mm by 279.4mm
Not sure if it has been suggested, but how about using commas in numbers? It would sure make it easier to read the numbers.
