Great article and replies. I have two daughters that are teenagers, the other two are >10. One, the oldest (14) wants to wear the low cut jeans, expose belly, wear thongs, bikini's etc. She has been like that since she was 10 or 11. The other daughter (13) wants to wear nice clothes but would never want to wear what her older sister wants to wear. The dynamics of the whole thing is very interesting to me. The older daughter is more "worldly"

Great article. The far left screams censorship, freedom of the press, etc. when people tell them to sit down and give it a rest. But based upon several liberal bloggers here it seems they are now the ones who are censoring critics.

What malpractice and risk is involved with a broken foot? Yes I know that malpractice is a given rate depending upon the doctor's job. What risks would the doctor's have perfoming surgury upon the foot would engage in? I can understand heart/lung/eye/brain surgury and the small fortune you'd need to support the malpractice insura

democrats are whiners guys, let's face it. When things don't go their way they run as a solution. I am still waiting for some of them movie stars to move out of the country like they promised. In Texas, when the dems where going to lose a redistricting vote they fled the state like a bunch of babies.

Politicians don't seem to yet realize that the health care issue is more than just posturing now. I had a friend who was laid off a few weeks ago and in that time managed to severely break his foot. As a result, he could be looking at $15,000 in bills from it. It's not like the "good old days" where only the rarest, most extreme

JW - you are making assumptions that no one has read the Koran. Regardless, what was your point?

For what it is worth, you can get them to work on Windows XP. If you go to lucasfiles.com there is a xwtie95.zip file that you install. It works well, tried it myself a couple of days ago. As for obtaining the game I think either ebay or chips n bits (not sure the exact url) is your best bet.

Abe, I understand, and agree completely. That's a large part of the reason why I abandoned "the church" to follow Christ (I might have to use that as a blog title someday). So, do you not attend service anywhere? Just curious.

Gideon, Wow, is all I can say. I stop visiting the board for a few months and then stumble across some of you posts. Very well researched and written. Thanks

Being a Christian I feel no desire to justify any of it to you or anyone else. For me, the proof is all around. Most of the time I think people are wasting their time trying to convince those you do not want to believe. Christian's should remember that it is not their job to "save" anyone, there are those called, those yet to be called and those called who have rejected. Answering questions or presenting the gospel is one thing, feeling compelled t

Why not take your anger out on the pathetic and barbaic ISLAMIC cowards? Anymore, I am beginning to truely question the nature is islam. Are the coward terrorists truely extremists or they the only brave ones to act for what islam truely stands? Out of an entire nation of Islamic people in Saudia Arabia there was but 1, just 1 that said the man should be freed. Oh, and that was because he was thinking of

Objectivism is a descriptive title for the philosophy of Ayn Rand. All words were "made up" at some point. It's not an organization, it's a philosophy of individualism. By it's nature, people who follow it must be atheists. There are plenty of sites on the web that can give you an overview, if you have the interest to learn about

I am neither barbaric nor pathetic because I believe in a woman's right to choose. I will not attempt to hold a discussion with a name caller. This conversation is over. That my opinion that abortion and the support of abortion is barbaric and pathetic is just that, my opinion. How that is considered

Sounds interesting. However, I *think* that the US, while the fatest nation in the world is not the largest consumer of coffee per person. I could be wrong there. Coffee *might* be a contributor but not the cause or even the major cause of obesity in the US.
