Oh yea, almost forgot, AAC is only used with the ITMS. They don't call it an AAC player...it's called an MP3 player...ya know, MP3? The audio standard? iPod also plays WAVs and AIFF files, along with mp3s and AACs

Uhh...misterME...no. every audiophile knows the AAC sounds much better than WMA...the only thing that WMA has that AAC doesn't is hundreds of millions of PeeCee users leashed to it. I don't think Apple will EVER adopt WMA..the point of iTunes and iPod for the PC is to get more windoze users to switch to teh mac, and realize how much better it is. Apple is a computer maker, that's the bottom line, and in the end, that's what it all boils down to.

I'm surprised, Frogboy, that you would post such a biased article. Not only does it bash the Apple OS in general, but it attacks something which OB EMULATES!!!! Saying the Mac dock sucks, is flat out saying the ObjectBar mac dock ripoff sucks too! Neither suck. The mac dock still looks much better than OB, and runs much smoother on the mac (thanks to quark xtreme vs crappy active x or whatever windows decided to call the rip).

I like the metal look, paxx, much better than the "take-over-the-world" bliss wallpaper-and-blue/green-butterfly-msn-msft-anus look that you see...um...everywhere but not sure if anyone noticed but OD IS the mac dock. period. dont take that as a rant tho, i'm just commenting on peoples comments I've heard about not wanting to make your PC look mac-like

IMHO, I think one should not look at the appeal of the wall to that particular user, but to how much work was involved, it's function, it's design, etc. If I see something that was a simple cut-and-paste, or a screenshot (in the screenshots section) then I won't rate it very high, even if it may look good. Personally, I think screenshots are cheap ways to boost one's rating. But aside from that, ratings should be based both on quality of work, and of effort. Just my two cents.

This doesn't necessarily mean you've been cut off, it just means that, as a Citizen, you've got a 50MB limit that it appears you've reached. The only way to get past that limit, is to: a) Contribute to the message boards and skinning community, and hope that you get noticed and then promoted, or b) Pay the $20 for a two year WinCustomize subscription with unlimited downloads. c) Purchase a Stardock product, and cross-reference the two accounts. Just a little request from one of our admins here at WC... I've got this wall that I ULed a while ago, and I want to update it (add a non text version), but I feel that there are a lot of negative comments on it (slanderous, profane, etc) that I think shouldn't be there. I'm not upset about losing downloads, I'm upset about losing ratings that I worked hard to get, and losing comments that people gave, and also having to update each description of my skins because links and html got messed up...but I can't complain...also, I noticed that the previews for a lot of skins are messed up...will that be fixed? or should I re-up the preview images? thanks
