TC, It's called Quark Xtreme, vs ActiveX or whatever MS decided to call their rip... Well, personally, I don't like Dells. Secondly, and to clarify, it's not as much a waste of money as it is too much to pay for something like that. $5,000+ is a hell of a lot to pay for a PC. Especially a Dell, who sells 3.2GHZ P4s for like $700 w/ craptastic monitor.
