Ahhh darn you UP! Thats ok I'm going for a research victory anyway, I was curious because it was the first time I've had the tech. On a different note, how do you see how close you are to the various victories? I saw a screen that showed your percentage towards each once, but now I can't find it heheh.
Ok how do turn a space station into a terror star. I have researched everything needed, but when I fly a constructor to a starbase it doesn't have terror star shell as an option. Is that military? How much room do I need? Do I have to build anything first (like basic defense)? I have tried it with a brand new starbase and a starbase that already had upgrades and I can't get it as an option either way. Thanks!

Don't forget the minor races either. They seem to have a lot of money and production even if they have only one planet, so its possible the AI is trading with them to get advanced techs. They could have traded for the prereq to battleship then researched battleship... hehe. Maybe *I* should do that!
