Snake oil????........... I've been using TuneUp Utilities and JV16 Power tools - not on the same system - for many years...........and never had any issues..........in fact I would recommend TuneUp to anyone............JV16 is excellent also but you have to know a bit more about what you are doing with this 'baby' otherwise you can get yourself in a lot of trouble. It's true that many of the things that you do with TuneUp can be done manually or with tools

Pretty good piece of software for free...........I prefer TuneUp which now has been taken over by AVG........We'll see if that is a good move for the consumer or not.
Leo, what OS you using?
7 bro...........
I've been a Chrome user for several years and recently tried IE10 and was pleasantly surprised. IE10 loaded webpages faster than Chrome and eventually I made the transition. I upgraded to IE11 yesterday and again I am impressed. No issues so far and a slight improvement on page loading going from 10 to 11. The IE Team at Microsoft have done a good job
can these be used on win 7?
Nope............you can only use the WP if you extract them

Just tried it again.........using both Chrome and IE..........and the other site did not pop up this time. When the rogue site popped up this was the only tab that I had running in Chrome so it could not have come up from anywhere else. My machine is clean. Keep an eye on it. [e digicons]>_>[/e]
nice did you read the whole article ? may I ?: Symantec’s track record in the Times appears worse still. But it’s worth noting that its peers would likely have been equally useless: The security firm actually outperformed most of its competitors in the most recent tests by German antivirus testing firm AV-Test, which gave Symantec a rating of 5.5 out of 6 for protection of Windows 7
Thanks Leo, I use Rainmeter for a few items that add value to my PC experience, and hopefully this update addresses an issue I had with mouse gestures with the Omnimo skin suite... the changelog suggests it may have.
Yes, mate I think it may have resolved those issues............. I see the Norton 'dinosaurs' are still out in force...........really sad how some people can't open their minds and are historically influenced by others who still 'harp back' those times when Norton screwed themselves with a bloated resource hungry bloodhound.......but since that time............2003/2004/ 2005 I believe ..............and especially in the last few couple of years.........Norton has come along a long way and if you care to look at some of the&nb
