Cannot use Impulse in Stardock Support General Stardock Forums

I use Object Desktop (and have been form quite a number of years...). My employer has no problem with my using the apps but, even being in the IT department, I am not (for reasons of "security and PCI compliance" allowed to install Impulse. It is, in fact, automatically prevented from being installed - and deleted if it's found - by our AV Security Suite. Since my stuff is legit, I don't really mind WGA or even OGA, but once it's found to be genuine, for the sake of the gods, leave my machine and that tiny bit of network bandwidth and processing power alone. I don't run a VIN check on my car every time I start it just to make sure someone didn't swap it out on me while I wasn't looking.

Since I rarely run an application full screen, I don't mind giving up 10% of my real estate for a sidebar...but if the only thing contained in the sidebar is a clock, an RSS feed, and a bunch of empty space, I'll just pass and continue using the much greater utility of Object Desktop.

As a Vonage user, the only time I had connectivity issues was when the router went *through* the phone adapter. Once I used the alternate setup of having the phone adapter plugged into the router, I had no further problems.

First of all, there is nothing I appreciate more than proper English when someone wants assistance. This is not that. But regardless. Find your Windows XP installation CD. Find the i386 folder on it. Then, find a file named MDAC.IN_. Copy it to your desktop. Use Run to launch "cmd". "cd" to your desktop. type "expand MDAC.
