Allow me to quote: spelt: A hardy wheat grown mostly in Europe. Is that what you meant? That Stuart is a kind of hardy wheat? or perhaps you meant: Spell: To name or write in order the letters constituting (a word or part of a word). To constitute the letters of (a word): These letters spell animal. To add up to; signify: Their unwise investment could spell financial ruin. v. spelled

You didn't execute the Queen, John Knox had already had her exiled from Scotland, and James VI had been declared King, there's not much honor in executing an exile. And the Scottish kicked the English a number of times, need I remind you that your current queen, through a rather conveluted route is more directly related to James I Stuart (stewart), or James VI of S

Being a Presbyterian(Church of Scotland in America), I know this great joke Sir Peter, that you should tell the Queen the next time you see her, it's quite popular amongst the CoS crowd and it goes like this: The Queen of England is the Head of the Church of England, but the instant she enters Scotland she's merely a member of the Church of Scotland. I admit, you have to appreciate the dry scottish humor, and have a few Scotchs in you

Irony, I'm a good friend of one of the leaders of the Church of Scotland, who desires to remain nameless because of his issues with church of England, and he says, "Bugger the Brits, let the gays marry if they want." Cheers

Oh, and for those who are confused by jebidia's outburst, he/she simply cut and pasted her/his response in God's view on homosexuality, over to here. Cheers

I don't know, he's threatened to have me stoned, which, in the state in which I live means I can press charges, have the records of the blogsite examined, his IP address hunted down and himself thrown into jail. Hmmm, interesting thought, but seriously not worth the effort for some raving luney. Cheers

Obviously you have never known someone who was pregnant, I don't know about you, but having been married to a woman who was pregnant twice, I can tell you it's no rosy nine months from coneption to birth, and that's when the two of us were planning to have babies. Cheers

Whether I agree with O G San or not, Anthony has had a bit of a history of bursting on to sites that he believes he disagrees with, making some sweeping claim, whether associated with the article or not, and then disappearing for a time. Don't take it personally. Cheers

You believe that a fetus is a child, I do not, therefore it is not murder to me. That pretty much negates any of your points. You believe it is murder, that means you would never have an abortion, I respect that, but the law says a fetus is not a person, and therefore abortion is not murder. Oh and SGsmitty, as long as the law is on my side, I think it's "pathetic" of you to keep calling people that.

I'm going to have to agree with Don, prosperity is in our best interests, whether or not what the US does to try to promote prosperity is moral or not is an open question. Cheers

In a society where every deadbeat dad can be tracked down, I agree, men have consequences, unfortunately many, if not most, deadbeat dads can get away, if they really want to. A woman who becomes pregnant faces the consequences 100% of the time, a deadbeat dad faces the consequences only when he is caught. Cheers

Well, picture this, a woman who engages in sexual activity, rape, planned, etc. is stuck with the "consequence", having a baby, not always, it's true, but often enough. A man who engages in sexual activity, suffers no consequences, at all. So, if abortion is not an option you punish the woman, in every case, while the man is not punished at all. Cheers

Senator Miller, D-Ga, now that is truely an irony. Miller is one of the last of the old Dixiecrats, he belongs to the party only in name, and if the DNC could find a canidate, of even the republican party capable of beating him you can bet they would. If you only respect Miller because he votes with Bush, then that's not a very good reason to respect him. I respect members of both parties, even ones I don't agree with, because rather than vote for

The neighbors would lose the case. Assuming a few things, one, the australian flag was not higher than American flag, and two, the American flag was to the right of the Australian flag. I say this as a former attourney, any attourney who thought of bringing this case better charge up front and not a percentage of the "cut". Cheers

There's no rhetoric, no spin, just the facts. I like it! I'm sure even Brad will admit that there is both rhetoric and spin in his posts. If it were he wouldn't say things like: <TD class="mb-Body-Quo

Actually, yes it does, you say that abortion magically solves all the problems of being raped, and it doesn't, the mother is still punished for being raped by having to go through the physical changes and dangers that go with pregnancy. Cheers

Birth is not a fool proof option. It's possible for a mother to die even in a healthy baby. It's also possible for the child to die. Perhaps if a man were capable of going through labor he would, in general, be less likely to say no choice. Cheers

What about them? They are unfortunate things that happen. But should the child that results from these crimes be put to death? Is that democratic? Of course not. And should the mother, who is a victim in these cases, be "punished" for being raped by having to care for the child? The mother didn't choos
