Hi S1mone . . . nice to see your querry. Look at it this way, all the infrastructure of building something like a ship or social project still requires alot of money to maintain e,g, leases, wages, galactic superanuation . . . I do take the point that it would be nice to be able to run some projects at a minimum (retrench workers and so on) but that makes the micro management a bit labourious on the bigger maps with more planets . . . just a thought. Why did Obi Wan leave? I've read his post a couple of times and still can't fathom the reasoning? (:( Quite simply I joined this empire for the pure fun of it! Ray, Have you ever played . . . Dungeon Keeper 2? I think I know you well enough to say that I know you'd love it! You kinda need to take on an evil persona to play it, you create a dungeon (carved out around your 'dungeon heart by imps), fill it with a miriad of unholy beings (you can play goodies if you like too as well though), build various ammenities and attack other keepers and complete quests . . . It's kept my interest since it came out in 1999. Replayability 11/10 .

Thanks SD for the 1.11 patch . . . The music seems to have been slightly modified (esp neutral) sounds better now imho . . . There seems to be a few quirks/new features in the influence mechanisms however . . . there is a lot more flipping going on, some of which seems to defy explanation? Also I had probably 3/4 of the habbitable systems and most the wonders but still couldn't win a sitting in the United Planets Council (? strange) . . . never could get more than a 1/3 of the
