I've always assumed it took 10 constructors to build a terror star . . . seems it only takes 5 (or so I've been reading on the boards). Opps . . . can anyone tell me the build order? Regarding modifying the behavior of AI's TSs . . . it mustn't be all that simple. I would've thought just translating the coding for combat vessels into the completed terror star 'things to do' protocols would work (can you tell I know nothing about programming?) . . . Totally off topic a few games

Yes in my last game the Dregs used them extensively against the Torians. I occupied the space between them so the salvos were quite obvious . . . the Torian surrendered soon thier after.

Did a similar experiment some time ago using 1.09 I think it was . . . gifted multiple terror stars to other races (I built too many constructors so went terror star crazy building bon bons all over the place). Anyway as you mentioned Ray the TS just tried to make it back to thier nearest sector ownership space. Hopefully 1.12 will nip this in the butt . . . any word yet . . .

#8 by Senator CariElf - 11/13/2003 10:27:01 AM Ginata, maybe it's just too early in a morning when I haven't had any caffeine, but I'm having trouble visualizing how to reproduce the bug. So you open the ship list, then you start clicking on the button that sets an autopilot course for that ship. Are you multiple selecting ships, or is this happening for ships in fleets, or what? #9 by Citizen Ginata el bohemio - 11/14/2003 12:05:16 AM

Sorry Cari I'll try and explain it better . . . Ok assuming you have some constructors and combat transports in your ship list (seen on the right hand side of the screen in your list of ships) What I like to do to mobolize my fleets is to simply open that display (ship/fleet list) and click the arrow key for each ship (the little blue arrow for each ship pointing to the top right) which sends that ship to a circle seen in the middle of the main display (which I center using the

Let me be the first (and I dare say not the last) to congratulate you on that impromtu and unique and undoubtably original peice of work. Such flare and disregard for the norm, you my friend are taking us in a 'neud' direction! As they say in the industry "You know its good if it seems like you've heard it someplace before!" The only thing that begs to question is what industry that might be? L0L Tis' nice Freddie would be amused I'm sure . . . :) Oh hi Gera

How high can you get this point to be? Increasing the rate gradually and boosting morale in every other way seems to be the key. Today, I managed to get my taxes up to 91% without harming my income. Actually, while I have your presence I was going to ask what difference (if any) is there between setting the AIs as Pure or Chaotic Evil? I've noticed the Chaotics sometimes take a more neutral path alignment wise . . . but other than that there equally as rude/arrogant or sucky/crawly?

I like to use rare . . . I might give uncommon a go tonight, thanks for the suggestion (it might just work) . . . I'll see how it goes. Huge seems so small after you've been playing Gigantic, so the extra planets shouldn't make it too much extra work . . . [Message Edited]
