I've had a similar problem to you this evening . . . I figured uninstalling SDC might have had something to do with it so I logged into SDC (Stardock Central) after I reinstalled it and for some reason it began updating 1.12 again? Freaky! All the same that seemed to fix my problem submiting for some reason . . . ;p . . . goes to figure. The strange thing about it was that I wasn't logged into my internet account as SD was downloading the update . . . kinda weird huh? [Messag

Theres a couple things you could try . . . but this is what I do. I uninstall SDC (I only realy use it when a product/update I want becomes available) and delete the registry keys for it . . . I've been getting a bit of gumming up in my registry anyway so I used regclean which is available for free . . . If you need SDC I can't offer any useful advice, I've had a few problems with it (installing parts of it's Object Desktop etc) Be sure to be careful and only remove t
they went through a worm hole the AI is crazy like that
I didn't even think of that . . . mmm still it's happened (with the Tor) in my last two games . . . mabye it's a coincidence? Hmm I hadn't moved any of my ships either . . . if it happens in my next game I'll be officaly freaked out!
Was from Australia, got excised . . . now from Australia again! :)
That cute picture says it all Theoden, great job writing about things in the absence of any drama . . .
Had an interesting bug in my last game . . . the Torian's Survey Vessel appeared next to SOL in the first turn of the game! (Thier only system was about 10 sectors away) . . . can send you the save if you'd like a look? :SURPRISED: PS still getting the Altrians early war declaration all the time too . . . [Message Edited]
Swosh . . . most of the last couple posts went over me head . . . (ehrm) anyway . . . hehe . . . ;) . Nice to see you back Harel, can't wait to hear what you've been up to . . .
Well played England (Football Cup thingy) um, hi all . . . have a great week :)
Its another thing to add to the cart of morality improvements, like most luxuries its for the elite and expensive. I argue that it should add mabye a point of influence or something similar considering its cost . . .
Battle Wages
You mean like as in 'wroger' and 'wrascal' and . . . . :)
Ray hello, As you might know we just purchased a house which is great! The down side of it's that a business venture we've been working on for about 4 years had to be put on hold . . . even if your not interested, if nothing else it might give you some inspiration as to what you might like to do its kinda 'out-there' . . . email me or Paul if you'd like to take a look at the synopsis . . . :)
Hi Everyone . . . I've been trying to access 'you know' but can't seem to 'you know' . . . anybody know whats up with that 'you know' . . .
Has collinization ships vision been expanded? Seems they have . . . good stuff!
Not sure if this one has been mentioned . . . seems to be a problem specificaly with the Altarians as allies. They don't offer you a choice of disolving thier alliance until after you've gone to war with thier enemies. It's kinda funny asking someone afterwards . . . :)
I get this thing too! But it disapeared after I uninstalled Galactic Civilizations . . . then it reapeared when I installed Galactic Civilizations . . . then it disappeared when I uninstalled gallactic Civilizations then it . . . well, you get the picture I'm sure . . . doesn't bother me or seem to slow things down any though . . .
Thanks Cari . . . I've upgraded to 1.12 . . . hopefully the combat transport bug will go away, I'm so used to working around it I keep forgeting to check . . . hehe. Great work on 1.12 incidently . . . :D If it persists I'll zip and send it as you suggested (having too much fun playing the new version wOOt!)
Looks like a fair bit of work went into this upgrade . . . well done Stardock! :CONGRAT:
Um . . . it was a little joke, but not far from the truth, come to think of it I do recall something called suicidal that disappeared from most records (still see it in the profiles of some long time inactive players) . . . mmmm. Hi Ray! are you excited as I am about 1.12 . . . not long now :)
2k HP Excaliburs!
:SURPRISED: Are you kidding? Thats some serious ownage! Woe . . .
Congratuz Jaws thats a milestone (or is it a millstone) I can never remember which . . . hehe. I just strated a full-time job (3 mth contract) don't think I'll be playing anywhere near as much as I'd like, but that's never stopped me before! :) Actually I'm really holding out for the 1.12 patch . . . like everyone else I guess . . .
Just a little off topic (alot actually) . . . but in some games I've had the number of minors proliferate so much that I had to scroll through them in the diplomacy screen (compared to the easy access and position of diplomatic standing for the Majors) it's cumbersome. As the Minors become more powerful (as a result of the recent updates) do you think it might be time they had a common screen similar to the 5 principle AI Majors screen of thier own? Just something on my Christmas wish l
A win is a win is a win! (looks at score again . . . 268 . . . mmm) um well it's a win I tell ya! :) back in those early version days I couldn't even get a win on 'playful' (mysterious sub-cakewalk level that has since vanished from the levels of play) . . .
Ricbayer, not spreading out in maso makes it (at least I find) realy (realy x big number) hard to balance the economy in the early spending free fall . . . you must have masterful accounting skills! I'm pretty hap' hazard with my sliders which isn't good compared to the AI counting every single bc infinitum turns in advance . . . I do occasionly (more often than not) lose a couple satalite collonies because of the AIs early influence from over expansion . . . but it makes it all the mor
I pretty sure your political parties popularity (and your sytem of government) have something to do with it too . . . Its all conjecture until someone from stardock spells it out but its fun hypoyhesising, hopotosisizing, hipopothamsing . . . doh! You know what I mean . . . :notsure: [Message Edited]
