Been getting a lot of trade ships stuck under planets . . . makes the system difficult/imposible to attack, trade with etc . . . :notsure:

Thanks for your ideas folks. In the game which puzzeled me the Torians somehow collinized a planet 12 sectors away. It was a 22 PQ which I spoted right in the corner using cntl-u when I was 'accidently' checking out the starmap (roll-eyes smilie). I figured out a plan to collinise all the way out to it really quickly (I play range and speed bonuses) but they still beat me to it! I didn't check for starbases since it was so early in the game, but thats a thought and
In the last couple of games I've played I've noticed two instances where the AI majors have somehow collinized a system many sectors outside of thier range . . . Any theories anyone . . . ?
Yes, it has been quiet lately . . . not sure if some of us have taken leave without notice, this time of year I think thats pretty expected. Theoden once again an excellent read, now EBZ can't ever say he doesn't make matter for good reading . . . I feel GROSS will rise to the occasion, it'll be interesting to see what happens . . .
I play with a full population bonus (+70% i.e. 'Don't Ask') . . . good for income and provides an almost inpenitrable barrier against invasion for unprotected planets . . . I'm not sure of the relationship in population as compared to the moral . . . i.e. if it's linear or logorythmic . . . I might pay closer attention next time and get back to you on this one . . .
