1. main difference between alignments . . . In GC the spectrum of good to evil for players goes from Saintly, Good, Neutral, Demonic and Pure Evil respectively, I think. I believe the use of the words Chaotic and Lawful are spin offs from the world of role playing or something . . . but as far as I can tell don't actualy describe the ethos of an AI beyond it's degree of magnitude towards the two extreams i.e. Lawful being extreamly evil/good and chaotic less so. I'll tell you, but don't tell anyone else ok? ;) Its all about hording influence points . . . takes a bit to get used to but basicaly if you trade techs for influence 'alot' get Battleship, Disruptors and or Splash Damage while pretending to be evil (collony choices etc) . . . the other AIs seem to think your worthy of thier admiration? The only techs I study are Xeno, Alliance, Advanced Diplomacy etc. In addition I keep an eye on what the AIs are researching t

JordanVmp, I must admit it's probably the most used cheese tactic in GC gaming . . . 'backstabbing' all your Allies at the end of a game with a Alpha Strike. Simply put it scores a lot higher than Alliance victories, one day SD will close this loop-hole I'm sure . . . but until then, Mwahaha Mwa ha ha ha (That little light blue face in my profile is a traversty!)
