I'd buy it from a store in a jiffy! Next-up I'd order it through Stardock (boxed Set . . . I like collecting the boxes) . . .

No worries Wild Won, I say things in hope more than anything . . . I still got alot to learn about the whole Maso strat so I shouldn't really comment too much. Hehe . . . Jeff, do you really think we could distract Ray long enough for the rest of us to catch up? Mabye we could've sent him some plane tickets for New Zealand so he could've been in the LOTR Movie as an extra or something, but unfortunately its all ready been shot . . . :) Oh well I think I have a date mith a med
Congratulations! :CONGRAT: . . . Have a cigar for me too (I don't smoke . . . hehe) ;)
w000000000000000000t!
Indeed you did! Congratulations! Feels good don't it, what a buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Ditto! In my last game I couldn't Terror Star a planet at all . . . click, click, nothing? I just ended up invading instead with Combat Transports . . . I thought it was just me but this has happened a couple times in the last few games after I downloaded 1.10a . . . reloading seems to help.
ME!!! Diplomatic! That's the first time anyone has called me that. By the way. I hate trading and forming alliances. I prefer to destroy and conquer.
Hehe . . . well its true! Your personality/charisma/charm alone I think has contributed greatly to our ANZAC Republic's recent prosperity to be honest! Thats worth more than anyone's endevours on a fickle scoreing system anytime. Wild Wombat . . . I'd have to say the same for you an
2815 . . . 3000 doesn't seem very far off! Any bet on who will be the one to give this beast its 3000th meal? I think Wild Wombat or TheQuack . . . :d
Rainbird, believe me neither do I! Why do you think I'm trying to get a handle on playing Maso . . . whats more compelling for me though is that the games (being smaller with ALOT of tech trading going on) take much, much less time if you wrangel an alliance with the AIs, or so I have found in my limited experience. Anyway, you contribute alot more to our forums than just your score Rainbird . . . score/smore your our number one diplomat!
The only person your at competition with is yourself . . . mind you I think the Masochist's days are numbered because its only a matter of time befor the scoring is reajusted or the levels exploits are revealed and reviewed, once people figure out they can get 20k plus on a tiny map just by using diplomacy bonuses things will have to change (or so one would think) . . . to use my favorite quote 'It won't happen over night, but it will happen' :) . Or to use my second favorite quote 'I might be
Ditto! Pointius and Rainbird . . . Maso seems so unrealistic to me . . . in many ways its a completely different kind of game! While I have a great respect for those who play that level its only a matter of time befor it will become a common playing level with those yummy over-bloted scores it generates. 22k for a tiny map on maso that takes just over an hour to play . . . shez . . . seems a bit 'much' scorewise but thats the way things are for better or worse . . . The thing I find int
225! Woot!
Well I just wrote you a short note to cheer you up Blue ;) , hope it helps a little, I'm still a novice . . . One thing Ray said in another thread that struck me more than anything was 'Attack thier planets not thier ships'. Kinda like Chess I guess . . . If an AI's fleet is off on a crusaide thier King is exposed. On small maps with alpha strikes the weakest well placed force can still triumph. Why the AI clears the orbits of thier enemies planets without combat transports within rang
Thanks Ray . . . looking at the way things are going with maso's being so well rewarded, I just had to give it another shot . . . I think I just about read everything posted on 'How to play Maso' yesterday . . . your diplomacy and fostering war amongst everyone else suggestions made all the difference! Infact, So much so I managed to Ally with everyone and hadn't even built a millitary . . . after that it wasn't too hard (suprizingly) . . . :SURPRISED: Best of all it only took an hour
Opps totally forgot about this . . . so very sorry, really I am, mabye next time . . . how embarrasing :( Wo0t!
Hi thanks for fixing the CTD for the Scouts SD. Opening the Ships lists on the right hand columb and sending combat transports to a location by using the little arrow on the right has been crashing my games lately . . . not all the time but most the time (especially if I send a bunch of other ship types fisrst, change location and then try to start clicking on the combat transports) . . . :notsure:
Hehe . . . here have a Universal Translator! . . . LOL . Wow those new weopons techs are really powerful, I just got kicked unconscious by the Altarian Dreds (game over) . . . without Disrubtors etc my Rangers got totaly wasted . . . well I won't be trying that again in a hurry . . . ;p
Opsie, um I edited my post . . . sry didn't see your response first up . . . :)
After over sixty games I discovered a pretty cheezy one on my last game on Crippling! You know how you can't build any more than one social project per turn . . . well if you . . . oh is that the phone . . . excuse me brb . . . ;) Back . . . um well if you click on a ship then purchase so the various deals come up all you need to do then is click on the socila project you want to buy. So long as you've got cash you can buy what ever you like. This is really useful when you take over a
Thanks Ray, your my inspiration/mentor (even though I can't beat maso . . . hehe). Mr Desilva . . . your star is rising, great work! Mmmm I sense a new era comming upon the metaverse . . . Those Maso Games (and crippling to some degree) are worth such yummy scores :d
Couldn't help but notice a few funny and quirky additions in the new 1.10 GC. The strangest one was the 'Die Humans!' ship/tech which came up in the Diplomacy screen. Does it actually have any significants? Hehe . . . I traded for it x 5 for 400 bc each (out of curiosity) . . .
Geez that was a quick fix . . . thanks Stardock :)
Thanks yet again bakka, all is well now . . . :)
All I can say is WOW! Sincere thanks to all our new recruits and to all the ANZAC Republicans, monumental stuff! :D
Sorry . . . my poor attempt at a frog . . . ;) Rubit Ribit ? ? ? :notsure:
