I wonder if the chocolate offer is equivelent to the Trojans patronising 'red bouncing ball' or the Atlantian (?sp) 'those videos you like 'nug nug wink wink . . . hehe'. I know which one I'd prefer. What little trinkets do the Yor and Arceans offer for our amusement? :d

You are 'correct' . . . it took half the time and I had a fair bit less research done I must admit. I just wanted to maximize my contributuion to the ANZAC's cause and have fun too. It would seem at my current skill level (until I can get a decent foohold in crippling) that ain't possible, I'll keep working on it though. RayChua what would your best guess be at the specific multiplier factor for different difficulty levels adjusting the overall score? In this kinda form from your vast

Just curious eangrist . . . Your e-mail is the same for registration, posting game score submissions and forum membership? And the spelling and case of your nick is the same? No firewall or blocking software running while your trying to submit? Mmmm . . . I read back a bit earlier and you said your nick was Anyace? Is that right? Yet you post as eangrist? Can you see what I'm getting at? Its been a couple days, your patients will be rewarded I'm sure . . . :)

I eak my way through a game set on 'painful' for a score of under 3k for a millitary conquest (very exciting! I luv it!). Then play the exact same game on 'normal' (same size yada yada use cultural flipping) and get an 8k plus score for a win. That's the crux of my earlier point. So whats the deal with that, some specifics on multipliers for normal, challenging, tough and painful is what I'd like to know, if possible . . . If anyone has a clue? :D

re: The luck thing. I kinda picked it initialy just for the simple reason I had one point left over and it costs one point. Then I started to notice the variable benifits (finding ships at critical times early in the game, space monsters molesting the AI more than me, less bad luck, the inate feeling that 'I'm Lucky and therefor special! ( LOL )' . . . and so on). After that I just stuck with it. :)

When the program is running but minimized and in the sys tray you can see the version if you hover over it with your mouse. There's probably a better way to see the version you have other than that though :) [Message Edited]

I second that (finding it hard to navigate to all my silly submissions lately). Oh also the number of pages view for each thread (i.e. 15 or is it ten at a time?) seems a bit small (we are growing!). Otherwise it's all great! :) [Message Edited]

CariElf, I'd send it to you except for the fact I over-wrote it (I think), I'll double check when I get a chance . . . I just thought the Cartotids (sp?) had some kinda 'hyper-nano-astro-ultra dingdong and dingeling' defence system. If I can't find the save I'll try and re-emulate it. Thanks :)

Difficulty Level: You mean this? Thanks "The base score is based on the intelligence of the various computer players. This makes up the ""vast majority"" of the score. There is a slight bonus for playing as the opposite alignment as most of the players for most of the game. It looks at each turn and then looks at how much you are different each turn. But it's a relatively small adustment." If the multiplier between Massive and tint is so great 3:1 multiplier, then woul

Whats the best difficulty level to play on scorewise? I've improved a bit and have been adjusting the difficulty accordingly but my game scores seem to be going backwards? I play on Normal and get 8k for an easy win (which is a bit boring) or alternatively complete a challenging or tough game (which is much more fun) but get a score around 3 to 4k? I still struggle getting through on the higher levels, but with the above suggestions I might just have a hope. In any case I most

Hello, This is probably not a bug, but I was invading the Caratoids (sp?) and I couldn't land troops? The Ship just went zap and exploded (superior tech? Omega defence system?). Anyway, I thought this was a bit strange because then I get the invassion screen saying I'm sending in 0 million troops vs whatever? One Combat Troop Carrier got to the surface (out of the 10 I sent) . . . The Yor seemed to have no problem landing troopes during our combined ashault and their tech was

Chantillary - I had the same event in a Tiny Map (i.e. 100 Corvettes found) . . . They screwed my economy up a bit so I gave most of them to another race (The game began to drag). Anyway we went to war and they were all parked right next to a 'Mo Fo' Base I built. It was rather tedious watching 90 plus ship head butt my Base hopelessly and explode (Took about 5 minutes LOL). I like what I read somewhere about the expansion having events more linked together into a bigger story . . . th

I just loved reading the 'blow by blow' description of that gigantic 21k game win. I personally thought I'd never have time to play a map so big . . . but well having read your post, I think I'll take another look. Your little corner planet retirment village for old clapped out races is a most cunning idea, I like it! For the first time ever yesterday an AI (Trojians (?sp)) fully "schitzed-out" about a Base Station I had been building in my own sector of origin from the beguin

I was going to make a post regarding your most recent game, congrats WoW! (asking offcourse how in the world you got a 21k plus score?). There's some really great tips above thanks! I bet you can't wait for 'Nightmare' difficulty to come out? :)

Hello, I've brought up the difficulty a bit, but now I'm getting completely owned, I could really use some advice, pretty please? (all intellegent/medium/scattered/uncommon). I ussualy play as a Pacifist with +4 Social and Millitary Build and +25% Luck. I go hard after trade and expand to 3 or 4 planets ASAP (if I see 'em). I always build one base near the most likely trade route (seems to survive longer than my colonies) and get a Economic Capital as early as the AI. But alas

Hi OronHaus, I know what you mean. What I do is evacuate the colonists first (ussualy). Then Immediately after launch destroy the colony. Unfornunately this can sometimes CTD the game if you do a few planets in sucession. I colonize poor quality planets in search for booty as a matter of course, so do this quite often. On occassion I admit I have lost a few million people (I feel guilty) but so far I haven't notice that affect the moral on other planets or the score (I really t

Can these forums be revamped just a little tiny bit . . . please, please, please. Everything lumped into one heaped list is well . . . not as nice as it could be. Itsa' hummble suggestion, and new members/purchasers of the game I'm sure would appreciate a section type layout. I only metion it because I care :)

Thanks . . . From what I could find on the web (not having played it offcourse) it looks 'ok' I guess (and thier forums are a bit more tidy appearence wise -take no offence pls-) but the ingame layout looks yukie! Although the background looks solid enough (story wise) I suppose. Perusing thier boards I was suprized to find alota bug posts, I mean, considering it's the 3rd installment of the Grave Train.
