I am running an amd ryzen 1600, amd 480 vid card and have the api set to vulkan. I am on the map implosion. My power is 312203 the insane computer is 291426. Lots of juggers and cruisers. My question is why is it slowing down to a crawl? I mean like a frame a second. My resource monitor says my processor is only at around 50%. I have set the graphics to high and have tried directx 12 in the api. Still just slows down to a crawl at this point. &n

Has anyone beaten the AI on insane? I decided that I was going to teach the AI insane a lesson, so I got 4 of his painful brothers together and went at it on a large 6 player map. After 45 minutes we were crushed. We destroyed 17 thousand of his units and the bastard just keeps on coming. I believe that insane is such a huge jump from painful, one insane AI could take on 10 painfulls.

I just got an update for ashes but there is zero on what it actually is. I was 100% up to date last night but this afternoon I get another update. I don't like it when there is a stealth update and I don't know what it does!!
We have three copies of AOfS in our house. The one huge thing that I just can't understand is why we don't have PING in multiplayer. When you play multiplayer it is impossible to tell your buddy "oh so you see to the right of the radioactive? No not that area but the right of the ridge next to the radioactive?" It seems to me a ping would make the community so damn happy. Why not just do it? I have resigned myself
So when I play AOS I keep my resource monitor open on a second monitor just to see how much ram and cpu the game is using. Well there seems to be a strange bug. I had three armies and when you put them in certain spots on the map the cpu usage dropped on two cores making the overall cpu usage about 47% and the game slowed to a crawl. You move them somewhere else and it started using 85% all cores and the game was fine. It wasn't a situation where if you put a
Is there no map ping in AOS? My god if that is the case then what an oversight. Coordinating with your team mate without ping is barbaric. Tell me I am wrong and there is a ping.
I have to say even putting them in a control group you may have 10 dreads screaming to be upgraded in battle and clicking on them individually even from the panel is a pain. What would be cool is if we could somehow hold shift, hit a dread that needs to be upgraded and once you upgrade it just goes to the next dread in the control group. That way you could upgrade ten dreads in 5 seconds. Thanks for listening.

I understand fog of war and all that. What I don't understand is when I put up a radar and I still can't see enemy units that go within my radar range until they actually come close enough to me they are no longer in the fog of war. What is the point of having radar? I hope I am just a simple idiot and don't understand anything.
