I've had some time to think of it, and I vote no for both. We really should spend less time on worrying about Empire infrastructure and more time submitting games. Mind you, it has been losing it's appeal as of late.
I'm not a fan of huge changes when it's not necessary, so I'm against any gigantic overhaul of any sort. Cycling logos is good though, because then more than one persons logo can be used.
It's in the library if you want it. I think all of his mods made it to the library in fact.

Yeah I suppose. It'll get old eventually though, and the loyal people will go back to submitting random games.

AI is nothing more than strings of code in a file, all the processor has to do is run the code. The only thing that processor really needs to handle is the random rolling of the dice bit. Like if the other civs decide they should tell you about the culture palaces orbiting their planets or if they should say nothing and just lower relations. That and most of the graphics are handled by your video card, if you have a more recent one with 64 megs of RAM then you should do just fine.

You mean like the colony view in MoO 2, except updated to suit the current hardware capabilities? Yeah, I'd like to have that too. But you can't have everything, even from large companies like EA and Activision.
How so, milady? Does Stardock plan on tearing down the Metaverse as soon as the expansion is finished? I was thinking of making maps where you start off with a hero ship of some kind, like maybe a frigate or something. I wonder if the map editor allows changes to stats on specific ships, then I could make a hero frigate that's almost as strong as a battleship.
How many of you are hyped up about the Altarian Prophecy expansion? I got Drengin.net specifically so I could have it, I want to make maps filled to the brim with trigger events that may or may not be helpful to your civilisation. As well as some ships to get you started.
You could be a little more tactful AIL.ST. Anyway, if it is because you're playing on Maso, then yes, you should stop. If it's on cakewalk, then it could just be your tactics.
