Responding to that because I feel like it. RPGs are funny.

Well, in my experience they pick whatever party is the best to them. Which means if you create an uber invincible party that gives you 200 bonus for everything, the AI will pick it too, negating any advantage you could've had. [Message Edited]
Those planets - did you conquer them from another race? If they've built them on those planets, they would still be there if you conquered them even if you can't build them yourself.
Linked events? You mean like one event leading to another related event based on what you chose? That sounds cool.
Holy crap, I feel like such a young grasshopper compared to everyone and I'm 17. Is mostly everyone here seriously that old? That makes me somewhat nervous.
It helps you if you're outnumbered when you invade, then again having uber soldiering helps too so I dunno which one is worth more.
The resource stays at where ever you disbanded your Terror Star. And yes, it dissappears without a trace when you disband it, making it a complete waste of time and resources so I don't recommend disbanding those things on a whim.
You know, there really should be a way to get back at least some of your cash that went into it. Like a recycling facility where your ship gets dissassembled and smelted down for use in other projects.
Loosing in the senate doesn´t really hurt, does it? Any party has it´s advantages, so what gives but how about an additional penatly when you´re not chairman or president or whatever? Like more frequent voting even on smaller matters than war?
It does in fact hurt. If you lose control of the senate, not only do you lose your advantage, but you also get a penalty, like reduced social and military production and your morale tends to drop through the floor also.
I encountered something similar during my conquest of the galaxy. It was late in the game, and an event ocurred stating that a disgruntled factory worker shot Lord Vega of the Arcean Empire, thus starting a war. And some "private" suppliers had provided them with a buttload of ships. They had at least 100 corvettes, and they were all named "Die Humans!", but since I owned almost the whole galaxy, and since my military might was so strong (I had an equal amount of frigates), I was able to persuad
Hopefully that kind of detail will be implemented in the expansion.
I'm not sure exactly as how I'm supposed to use those. I've read in several places so far that they can blow up star systems, but I don't know how to tell them to do that. I try using them like I would a colony ship, by making them go to a star, but they won't attack or anything. It's nothing more than a mobile starbase, as well as a waste of resources. Is there some special command I'm supposed to give to make those things wipe out star systems?
