Well, I've downloaded all of your mods so far and like all of them. Except for the Cheatstation one though, because I'm relatively certain that will cause an anomalous score. I think I'll make some tech mods of my own, in particular I'll make range increasing techs (because I'm rather annoyed with my current game because I couldn't colonize systems that were far away in time and they ended up in someone else's hands). And perhaps some economy boosting mods, there's only one tech that I know of t
I actually lieked MOO3...but that's just me 2 BC's
Well, I'm pretty sure there's a demo for it. I'll try that, that's what I did for GalCiv.
Do you know star control 2 or ur-quan masters? So check this out Link This not like SC, but it reminds it somehow
That's interesting, it looks remarkably like a primitive version of Stellar Frontier.

How about Party mods? I'm using the one that was in the library and my current government is the Scientologists, they're similar to the technologists except their bonuses for research and sensors are +30 and +2, respectively. I don't want to go through the effort of conquering the very powerful Arcean Dominion and Torian Confederacy only to find that I get yet another anomalous score.

Heh, you think Celerons are total crap too. Well, people have been running it on PIIs, so a Celeron that is only 100 MHz slower than what is required should do fine, just don't play on Gigantic galaxies.

Really? That's exactly the opposite of the standard strategy everyone seems to have developed here. I don't do this myself, but what seems to work for most people is setting military production to 100% and set government spending to 100% and pump out colony ships like crazy and colonize as many planets as possible. But, that probably isn't necessary in the demo since you're limited to tiny and small galaxies. Every time I played the demo, the game ended before anyone declared war or anything and

The max capacity of transports is 1 billion, combat transports 5 billion, and colony ships is infinite. When you invade a system, try using different invasion tactics until you get better soldiering abilities. I've taken systems with a pop of 12 billion with standard tactics with only 1 billion of my troops. Load up colony ships with at the bare least 100 million people before you send them off to colonize. Planet quality and morale go hand in hand actually. If you build things like soil enhance

For what purpose? Like Chia-Earth or something? Or just for the sake of having an intimidating looking thing that isn't necessarily and actual threat, like a paper tiger fleet to scare your enemies?

Well, that answers a question I had. I have the Abandoned Terraformer and Enhanced Terraforming mod, causing all of my planets to be PQ 50+ when I finished. I think I should restrict using Enhanced Terraforming and Omni Terraforming to planets that are subpar and reduce the availability of Abandoned Terraformer.
