I love all the ships you guys have done...but everytime I try to DL anything they are always somekind of RAR file. What is a RAR file? Do I need something special to DL them or maybe my Firefox has gone nuts?

One possibility, is that they have sold the ships to the race you are at war with. Ive thought a few times WTF then realized it was the Thorians attacking me, but the Yor using their ships. only idea I could come up with outside of it being a bug.
Well however spleeze decides to put the ships out there I just cant wait haha..guess I will have to. If you did put them each separately, is it still possible to download them all that way or is it best in mod?
Heres my bug I found playing the Mod version. You make a custom race and pick miniturization(lol sorry bad speller) and pick the rest of your picks normally. Then if you take that race and play a metaverse with them, it takes away the pts you spent in mini and gives the ability points back to you. Problem is you still have mini as a perm ability. Then when you play and submit the game to meta you get tagged as cheating. At first I didnt even catch this as I saw I had ability pts left so i u

I noticed that behavior to and when they park ships in my area I usually charge them a 3 or 4bc parking fee. They dont usually seem to mind!
Does the galaxy size then affect your score. Im thinking it will due to my smaller games being less in total score and the bigger ones I would then think have to give more score. Im also thinking that the difficulty lvl may give a bonus as well. Maybe not though, but would be kinda nice to know.

I was thinking of making up the Necromongers from this movie as a custom race...would fit in pretty good. Then I got to thinking that perhaps I would be able to make their ships up somehow if I could find pics of them. Does anyone know a good site that may have the pics on them? I looked around a bit and didnt find much. Also if some pics were found is there something that would help to make them into ships for this game? Since I have no clue how to make ships and then put them into the gam
Definatly stop using the exploit and play the game. The beta makes the AI much better and as I play mostly on challanging I think its more fun. The AI also builds better and Ive gotten into some good fights with other races and I also am able to make alliances as well. I dont disable anything, though I usually play on medium to large galaxy's with either very slow-slow research depending. I find it much more fun with research this way and I seem to actually get to use a few of my wps before
I didnt find an article on this already and if there is my apologies, but would it be possible to make a random ship button in the ship design menu, to put together ships for us, which then we add the components we need onto it. Not sure if this would be impossible to do, but would be kinda neat in helping to make new designs for different races. Good is just plain hard to play..and this from a pally player here. Ive always enjoyed Lawful Good types or just plain Good, but man in this game its harsh to try and keep your alignment that way. With the random events and some of them plain nasty if you choose good ouch..and the benefits..well heck...I tend to hit neutral more just because and I find that somewhat sad. I would like to see them bring up good and not nerf. I dislike nerfs intensly so lets hope they do something small to fix
LOL wow..ive never seen a 700% bonus for anything other than manufacturing...and to get 2 for research wow haha. Someone upstairs must like ya!

Recently I submitted my 2nd game to the metaverse and got some credit for it, but I didnt get the racial credit for being the terrans. I did change their abilties legally and I did use a mod for ships. Would either of these then stop me from getting the medal for terrans and would it do the same for other races if I select different abilities then how they come standard?
The nice thing about taking out the ships 1 by 1 is that it really racks the xps up for your attacking ships. Ive amassed some really huge fleets this way in their hps by attacking planets. By the time I was done I had some seriously xperienced ships that could take on some huge armadas.
All of you have done a fine job responding to us and dont let the few jerks out there ruin it for you. You have some great service to us and I persoanlly would like to thank you from the bottom of my Hull for trying to make the game as perfect as you can. The AI in no way sucks and at times seems almost to human...and at other times not. I like that...makes it more interesting. Again tell everyone thanks from me and many others who love the game and look forward to more!

For a good civ you get a special wonder that is suppose to help civs surrneder to you...darn..cant remember the name..if its the Empathic wonder or not...so far though..after having built it..I have yet to see it help much. Alot of times on surrender though..you can tell from the text, that the civ you are attacking surrenders to another power just to spite you. And IMHO, it seems like they always pick the one that I would prefer at that time, not to attack. While annoying, I can understand i
I tend to use planets that have farm bonuses for my economy planets..I usually have to put a few entertainment mods on it..but usually aas well get about 3-5 econ mods too..depending on planet size. Also, on any planet that I have a starport I always put at least one farm mod even if there are no bonuses...so usually by the time a fight breaks out I can make quite a few troops or..if the planets pop is full..i make troop transports until it goes down a bit..then let it build again..then repeat
