So by doing this then, you can have the templates for your custom designed ships show up in the custom ship feature in TA? Also, im assuming this works just the same for any custom race you create?

SAdly I remember quite a few months back, that it didnt work out between Stardock and whomever has the rights to MoM. Sad, because Stardock would have done it right I know...no doubts in my mind at all! Dont remember the post it was in, but i think Stardock even had a poll asking people what game they would want them to remake, and I believe that MoM was the winner! Too bad, because I loved MoM, but I know if Stardock does one it will be fun and done right! Wow I sound like a kiss ass...lol.

There were a series of games called X X2 and X3 that came out. I never played them myself, but they look interesting. They are using the games as back to create a whole universe built on it...and they are doing a great job at it.

Quick question again....are you going to be keeping Star bases looking the same or have you completely redone those as well? Also, if you are redoing them, will you be giving them a bit more hps or what not to reflect how tough they are? LOL sorry to keep asking so many questions, but Im so looking forward to this mod and to see all the hard work you have done! Again, great work and keep it up! :CONGRAT:

Question for you AF if you have a second...I noticed that your ships take on whatever color is selected for your empire....if I have custom ships I use, how can I make them change colors like yours do? Does it matter what file they go into..ie..ships in my games?

Thanks for the activation. Im looking forwrd to seeing this updated for Twilight. Ive been wanting to do a new comic and I think one on a complete Star Trek universe would be pretty dark kewl. Do you need any kind of help with XML files or anything. I doubt I can help with models or anything, and I did read where you mentioned you are kinda solo at this time, so thought Id offer. I was wondering if anyone knows where the tech points are located for a custom race. Ive re-made the whole tech tree, by increasing all tech costs by a factor of 4, changed a few other things, but have been unable to find out where the tech points can be changed at. In the end I guess, it doesnt really matter if I cant give more points, but being -400 does kinda bite haha. Any help is much appreciated! jmccrea

Im glad to see this getting done...looks awesome. I may have to do a comic on it once it releases and I understand the races and such. Since its a total makeover, Im hoping you are changing some of the weapon and armor sounds! They sound kinda goofy in the regular game, and while I do know how to change them I currently havnt. Keep up the good work!
I think it would be nice to be able to have the ships that you have stacked on your starbase fight alongside with the starbase when its attacked. Maybe an attach fleet option or what not. Sometimes when my SB is attacked Ill either get the ships or the SB...dont see why the SBS cant fly in tandem with the base...they do it when attacking one.
Aye the cheats work...and for myself..I dont use the cheats other than to test out changes I make to the game..ie..like adding new ships to pop in once i reach a certain tech. Without these, would be a bit harder to test!
Question...are you still able to download individual ships on your site? Ive looked around but cant seem to find them. Good job by the way!

Thanks Carielf, but for some reason Im up and running again..might be the complete 2 reinstalls I did lol. Also I did have smart exception and sent it to you..you thought there might be some mods trouble i believe!

The problem I have of doing other races in a comic form..is the lack of pics for them..unless I want ships talking to each other, I cant do much. Even for the terrans, I didnt have many different pics..but I hope to gather more. Plus I dislike playing the evil races
