I also have the same trouble from times to times and the best way for me to solve it, is to bring in, the specific cache of the concerned widget(s) (taken on another PC), as the widget is running. on the next boot, eveything's OK. And i give the "auto support" [e digicons]:grin:[/e] if anyone else has this trouble : That's mainly "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Contacts\wlcomm.exe" which has to be excluded from WB in the Per Application settings. Well it's surely better to put in it also Messenger & Windows Live Mail, but it's wlcomm.exe which is responsable of the silly error message. Hours of work to find this way ... Did i win anything ? Just some more precisions: I did the update on a Fresh reinstalled PC (XP SP3) where there's no old SDC or Impulse and where previous version was already WB 7.31 build 99 (done with self installer form the store). Installation was done without A/V & Firewall running On another PC where Impulse is still installed, WB was also installed through self installer and was also previously in 7.31 buid 99 On a third PC, WB was in V 7.30 and had been updated (by the self

Anyway, a valid serial has been send to me (thanks again to Support) And btw, perhaps SkinStudio 5 has not been realized with WB7 in mind but it's fairly good as well for some "oldies XP skins" as for the "fully recoloration" that i was taking about. Hi there, OK, we have to install apps whixh we download from Stardock Store now, BUT as i wanted to install Skinstudio 5 Pro , I was told that the serail (given on the store) is not valid, and that "it seems that WB is not installed on my machine" or something like that ... IT WORKS I finally uninstalled the DesktopX4 beta (from the store) and without rebooting computer (what i ever do when installing/uninstalling a soft), i installed the v 3.50. 60 (still from the store) then reboot and here went the miracle, every weather widgets are showing nicely even after
