osx's theme is customizable, ive run across a few styles from apple.com. i dont know who makes them though.. the developers, or are outside people actually designing new stuff and sending it in? either way its very sparse and not utilized

i heard there was an analog processor out there in developement.. impressive clock speeds (hell it has an infinite unit range)..but that was years ago. anyone hear about that?
from what i understand, stardock has a good working relationship with some people at microsoft, and considering how exlusive the software is to windows i'm sure it would be very easy to partner up with them. i'd guess that there are some very good reasons why that hasn't been followed through with.

objectdock and objectbar both also have an option in their general properties to remove the taskbar when those programs are loaded.
shellTweak, part of the object desktop downloads, will remove your taskbar entirely. for how permenantly i'm not sure, that 'lil bugger still pops its head up from time to time.
