Actually 7Dusk looks more what I am looking for, sadly, it apparently isn't designed for WB 10.5x, I install it but it does not show up in WB.

Are there any simple dark theme's for windows 10, some of the pre-installed themes for Windowblinds 10.x let you customize the colors for specific window attributes, but I cannot get dialog boxes and explorer windows "dark" like you can in Linux: http://blogs.dailynews.com/click/files/2014/11/gnome3_dark.jpg
I have OS/2 Warp 4.1 on CD and I also have OpenStep for Intel 4.1 with the developer tools disk..... $$$ It would be nice to see an OS/2 Warp theme that is compatible with Windows 10.
Cool, Thanks
So Windowblinds 8 is out (beta or not). It came with a few themes to use with windows 8, but I can't seem to find any other theme's that specifically state that they are WindowBlinds 8 or Windows 8 compatible? How do I know that a skin is updated for windows 8?
I have used Windows blinds since Object Desktop v1/v2.1 and even though times have changed and I am no longer using Windows XP, now using windows 7 and windows 8, I am looking for "updated" compatible skins for Window 7 and 8 that are representations of: Mac System 6 & System 7 Mac OS X Next Step/ Open Step OS/2 OS/2 Warp Solaris X Windows BeOS Irix Windows 3.11 <l
Interesting.... I renewed my subscription and I am running windows 8 (avoid metro) and use the desktop, but window blinds still won't run at all on windows 8 to re-skin the desktop and explorer windows...... what are the plans to be able to skin windows 8 's traditional windows?
I feel the same way, it looks nice, but locating everything and looking through skins, wallpapers, icons, etc just takes for ever, the site is not running slow, it hard to find stuff
I am in the process of upgrading, but in the mean time, can I manually install the missing files from my archive

Ok, I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but in the past windowblinds has worked with windows 2003 and I just rebuilt my pc and now I can't get it to work. It installed fine, I can download skins, and when I apply the skins, the colors change, but the skin does not load
I love most of the Object Desktop products and I find that they do not take up much memory to run. I remeber Windowblinds back in the days of 2.x and it has definatly come a long way. Right now have to say that the two components that I don't install because of serious problems are Win FX and Desktop X. I find that they both slow down my computer and make it difficult to do things,The system is a 2.8 HT P3, ASUS motherboard 1024 mb ram plenty of HD space and an ATI 9700 Pro all in wonder, I want
Wincustomize is free, but this wincustomize browser and other stuff. I did not realize that there was that much bandwidth being used, but it seems that stardock as a monoploy over skining sites, and when they took over this one a few years ago ( back in the day of winblinds 0.92 and 1.x it seemed like they were making all the "independent" skinning sites shut down, almost like apple did to mac clones. I want to see more independently owned skining sites come up
I can see stardocks point with charging for Wincustomize.com, Wincustomize.org and so forth because I own a copy of Object Desktop and the price for the software is very resonable. But on the other hand I use to use these websites back in the day before stardock got their hands on the domains or before they becaome so commericalized and I think it can it can be a completely free site if they really wanted it to be. I still remember the day the site went down and something like three days later i
