When the ACLU and George W. Bush are on the same side on something, that should tell you something. In other news...the temperature in Hell has just dropped 666 degrees. Yes, I wonder about Kerry's motive on this. </fon

AFAIK pizza is an Amercican creation.
but there is some doubt about eugenics causing elitism. Would that be significantly different from the current situation?
"View Edwards in the dark cast of trial lawyers, and Cheney in the sunshine of Halliburton." lol "In it, he suggests we are against war because it brings upon the soldier all the horrors we dare not face. Impoverished lifestyle, poor living conditions, food shortages, illnesses, maiming, and most harsh, the real possiblity of death." Hmm... no mention of taking a person's life. "I'm curious as to what you think about
"To fully comprehend these distinctions, however, humankind must rise above the dark confusions and unquestioned instinctive pulses of the animal kingdom." IMO genetic engineering will enable this by the end of the century.
Thanks for your response Gideon and I can understand how such a question could be exasperating and perhaps even be percieved as insulting. I am asking because I really am curious what the reasons are for praying for someone. I guess it's all a matter of perspective then, eh? Nuh uhh...
That's what I'm talking about! People make up names out of thin air! How do you think names like Mike, Jill, and Bob came about? My mom almost named me Wolfgang, and I wish she would have. I don't really care for Abraham but it's still better than names like: Mike, Dwight, Steven, Tony, John
Thank you.
"My goal is to bring back the dark Batman and really get to the root." That would be a really good thing. Conflicted heroes are so much more interesting. "Considering it is subtitled Batman 5" Bleh....
To my knowledge, they estimate the cost of piracy by estimating the number of illegal downloads of their product. Then they assume that every single one of those downloads would be a paying customer. This is of course bullshit. I really don't think piracy currently costs companies that much money at this time, but I can see that it could. These companies need to rethink how they are approaching the problem. I think Brad Wardell is on the right track wi
Damn! I got all excited when I saw the title to the post. I thought "Hell yes, free TP for a year!", but it's only free to download. ;(

"Am I a prude because I find the following a little disturbing?" Yup.
Too true.
he has a sense of humor because he made us aware of our mortality without giving us the means to overcome it We do have the means (our brains), we just haven't figured it out yet.
