A new article of mine over at FileFront was posted, this time it's about World of Warcraft . Enjoy! Now, before you groan and quit reading this immediately at the sight of that wretched acronym “MMORPG,” take into account that Blizzard is developing the game

I forget the actual quote, but it’s something along the lines of: “ it’s better to have loved and lost, to never have loved at all .” And, while I’m sure that’s true, the quote, in no way shape or form, even describes the amount of pain you’ll experience getting up the point of that infamous “ love ” thing. And that’s not even taking into account the effect

Wow! When I booted up FireBird this morning, the last thing I expected was to see that entry on the top of the front page of JU. Kinda odd, but glad to see more people enjoying the read! And, yes, things have really turned around this week; things are going great so far, and I think it'll continue as well. Also, I'm not looking for sympathy, so much as I am writing this to help people learn from some of my mistakes, and for the fact that I en

If you're one of the two people that read this blog (one of which being me ^_^), then you've most likely been wondering why there hasn't been an update in about two weeks. Well, let me spread some light on the situation that has been my life for the last two weeks. To begin, let me say that on May 1st, I needed to be completely moved out of the college dorms; however,

One of my new editorials has been posted over at FileFront today; this one contains my predictions for E3 2004 which include a list of what to look for in regards to "hot" games, and my prediction as to what is going to be announced and what is not. This year

One of my new editorials has been posted over at FileFront today; this one is brief overview of E3 , including the history of the event. Here's a snippet: The Electronic Entertainment Expo, more commonly known simply as E3, is the single biggest event in the g

It was such a great movie, so very, very sad though. I felt like crying endlessly at the end of the movie. Good point though; I generally do my best to be more-than-generous to most people I come in contact with. I tend to help out complete strangers far more than most people I've ever known do. People usually just ask me "Why would you do such a thing?" My best response to that is "I like to think of the good in people."

Another one of my articles (this time on "Crushing Genre Boundaries" in games) has been posted over at FileFront.com . Here's a little snippet from that article: For the last seven years, I’ve played countless games that can be easily-classified as a certain g

Looks like my preview of the Political Machine has been posted over at FileFront . Here's a little clip from it: Fresh from the minds at Stardock that brought you what was thought, by some, to be the best turn-based strategy game of 2003 (Galactic Civilizations)

I like it, just because it gives me more to think about (I also thought I was the only person on this site that did Smallville reviews ;) ), also, Lionel doesn't have the time to find out Clark's secret. Lex is going to get his memory back in the upcoming episodes, and Lionel is already dying... I'm predicting Lex is mere episodes away from killing Lionel himself.

If you "giggle" while you're talking to friends and such, then DON'T WORRY! The "right" people will know to take you seriously, and, personally, I like girls that giggle a lot; it shows they're decently fun to be around, and/or happy with life. "Gigglers" are just generally more uplifting people, in my experience.

Go on over to http://www.theprodukkt.com/ and check out the 96k FPS demo they have up there (screenshots below), it's very cool to see what they've packed into such a compact little EXE (though the actual program ended up taking up around 360mb when it was running). <A HREF="http://www.theprodukkt.com/files/kkrieger_

Yeah, I get the occasional freeze throughout the game that lasts for about 4-5 seconds, but it only occurs once every 15-20 minutes or so. The game also seems to crash half-way through my campaign. I've not been able to get fully through a campaign yet. Glad to hear there's a windowed-mode though, that makes me indefinately happy.

I just finished a solid weekend filled with Painkiller, and beat it moments ago. Let me just say this: if you consider yourself a gamer, you're going to fucking love this game. Pure action from the moment you start it up, until the moment you make Lucifer wet his panties at the end. I'm going to write-up a review of the game over the next couple days for <a href="http

After reading this, I just went and watched all 20 episodes, they were very well put together. They definately made the jedi look as powerful as they should be.

Very nice, will be purchasing the enhanced version soon. One thing I would like though is the ability to be able to log-in to my JU name/account from within the program.

I'm really getting into this whole story-telling thing (especially since my game reviews are all going to FileFront , so I need some new material), so in this entry, I'm going to recap a journey me and six of my friend's took to the roof of the University of Michigan's Bursley dorm complex. Some background: it's cold out. Very col

Sweet. I hope I can work in the sweat shop... Especially now that I have my transportation in order. I am now an official employee of Stardock. Oh yeah.
