Tried loading up GalCiv1 today, and everything appeared to work fine. Up until I started a new game. After the new game intro finished, and the gamefield loaded, I couldn't click on anything.. The mouse moved, and the music played normally, but nothing was clickable. Any suggestions?
I don't need the video from work, and as far as score submission, the way the network is locked down, I probably wouldn't be able to find an open port to use anyways, so that wouldn't be a problem. I hesitate to make any code changes though, without the source code.
What I'd like to do is run GalCiv from a CD, so I can use it on the computers at work(We're slack). The problem is, we do not have any form of system level access, so when the program looks for the registered components, it doesn't find them.... Is there anyway to bypass this to run on a secured system?
