I just finished reading an article about Venus (the planet) do you know that a day in Venus is longer than a year, you see a day is the time that takes for a planet to spin on its own axis and a year the time it spends spinning around the Sun, so a week wil last around 8 years, so there you have your answer in galciv 2 the planets spin so slowly that a week is in fact a whole year!!!!

Still weekly results are more close than monthly a tech that takes 52 turns to develop will be out after 1 year when the other way around will take you 5 years. you will end with game s568 years long when using weeks will be only 10 or 12 years long, it is a matter of semantics, weeks, months, turns, years? the main concept is turn and whatever word you use to replace the name turn by will fit. Weeks is my vote.

I don't see anything wrong with a weekly game, if you play a low levels, of course you will wipe out the AI rather easy, try playing the game aharder levels and you will beg to have the game by days and not weeks!!!

Jorge I think that is a cosmetic bug as you pointed out and the devs will pay attention to those details, I believe there is goin to be another release of a patch this Friday.
