No, once you have the game registered in SDC, you can download and paste on your PC. I do it all the time from my computer at work and the one I have at home, but I don't know about MAC, have to ask the devs about it.

Do you have the registration number in the back of the CD? I believe that the registration is just to give you access to future patches and expansions from the SDC. I registered my game in SDC once and I have downloaded everything without having to register the game again. I have found that by building Cultural center and stock market your popularity increases no matter the amount of people in the planet. I had a planet recently on 37% approval, I built 3 cultural centers and they went up to almost 65% happy. So there are ways to deal with over population.

I believe the easy levels are a training course such as a tutorial for new players, once you are strong and solid enough, you must kick a notch and start playing hardest level, you ill be amaze how strong is the AI, I am still playing between beginner and challenging just to get a grip, there are so many variables and different things, events, espionage, trades, etc that makes the game fun, if you are disappointed a low levels, like everyone else already mentioned above, kick the game a notch an

Yes, there is going to be an expansion called the Dark Avatar, if I am not wrong, one of the devs can correct me on this, I believe that is going to be out around spring time or summer time of this year, or maybe was next year, not sure about that, I read it somewhere in the history of the game I think.

Easy, when you load Galciv, click the tab that says metaverse, log in the metaverse and then from that screen on the lower right hand corner hit play, the game will start and will place a marker for the file, just in case you cannot finish the game and have to disconnect from the internet, so later on you can reload the game and finish it, do not begin a game as sandbox or will not submit to the Metaverse. by sandbox I mean start the game don't connect to MV and start playing, this type of game

I really have had some of the weirdest crash of all the time, I begin a game after 20-25 turns it crashes, I reload the game after 10 or 15 turns from my last saved (from which I reload the game) it crashes again, then I reload a 3rd time and it works perfect no more crashes, then I go and play 2 or 3 more games and everything is OK and then the same thing happens again, it is happening like every 3 or 4 games, weird or what?
